Apptrino is software for Staffing Agencies that tracks the application process from start to finish for job candidates.

With Apptrino job candidates create their own user login details and are able to update their profiles and see the job requirements for open positions. The CRM component stores contacts and helps to gather, store, and organize information about current and prospective job candidates.

Apptrino also includes requisition management, which allows historical data about open positions to be stored and identifies the number of potential candidates. The system provides time sheets as well that tracks the number of hours a worker puts toward a specific job.

The software is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems and is deployed through the web so information can be accessed from anywhere at anytime.

Apptrino is ok but there is room for Improvement

Our sales rep has been great- He has been quick to respond and helpful. The software is not designed for the Canadian market and it needs lots of altering to fit it. My biggest pet peeve is not being able to right click on a name and open it in a new tab. It makes working in Apptrino slower than it needs to be.

Pros

Applicant entry is easy.

Cons

The software lacks flow and an understanding of how recruiter use staffing software on the temp side. Everything needs to be about speed of use and it's not.

Resume Database

We utilize Apptrino as our resume database. We find the program to be very user friendly. It provides us the ability to search the database to fill positions with specific key words. This feature saves us time and allows us to fill our positions quick. We also like that we can document activity and comments on each resume. Any time we have questions pertaining to certain issues, our rep, David is always readily available to assist and and resolve.

Apptrino for Caribtemps

Create a tutorial guide for those who do not use the software daily and forget certain features and commands. Create "helpful hints" via pop up windows. Make it easier to enter candidate information and update same. Make it possible for clients to enter their information in the same way candidates do - at least the basics.

Pros

The flexibility of using the software is excellent.
The ability to create different locations is excellent.
Lots of features that are necessary when setting up a staffing agency.
Has ability to add components due to expansion and other future needs.

Cons

Some information fields are difficult to manipulate when used in other countries.
Confusion regarding some terms i.e. candidates vs associates, requisitions vs assignments
A bit difficult calculating billing rates and pay rates.
