Top Echelon's recruiting software Big Biller is a cloud-based applicant tracking system (ATS) and a candidate relationship management (CRM) platform combined into one solution.

Big Biller automates many of the applicant tracking features such as resume parsing, email parsing, spreadsheet exports, duplicate checking, classifying of records, tracking activities and logging conversations.

To help manage the recruitment process Big Biller has features for communication and organization through the hiring lifecycle with email and calendar integration, hiring stages and pipelines, an activity planner and an optional website portal.

Users can align the solution with their hiring process through customized fields, drag-and-drop functionality, reporting tools, notification system, data management and security settings.

Easy to use applicant tracker

This tool has been very helpful to our organization allowing us to track each candidate. We are easily able to find candidates and see where they stand in our process.

Pros

Software is easy to use and maintain tracking activities for candidates. Has a parsing option straight from email that sets up the record with very little effort. Database is easy to search and allows the right amount of notes and comments.

Cons

It takes some getting used to in order to understand each tracking activity. Need to have some time to play around in the system so the user knows what they are doing.

Overall good software

Pros

This software is very intuitive and easy to use. It didn't require any training, and I was able to customize settings on my own.

Cons

There are limited functions, but has all the basic necessities. I did have a few tech issues as well that were never resolved.

Big Biller is Great

Big Biller is in the process of upgrading the capabilities of its software. I look forward to the enhancements.

Pros

It's easy and it works. Big Biller is a great platform and the price is GREAT for the services that is offers.

Cons

So, if you currently have big biller but have had other ATS' in the past, you'll see that the interface is really antiquated. No cosmetic bells and whistles like other ATS' we sampled. In addition, there are some features that I wish were there, candidate pics from LI, workflow customization, and other partnership integrations.

Very User Friendly with's lots of Extras!

The new version is still in trial and error phase but I am enjoying the new look and feel of it!

Big Biller provides Options and its a One Stop Shop

Best for a 1-5 man organization.

Pros

Website, Job Board, Hosting, ATS, CRM are offered at an affordable price. Customer service is free and absolutely the best. Direct Hire, Temp, TEmp to Hire and Social Media Advertisements.

Cons

Need a Medical Specific Version. You can customize but it takes time. Their full service funding program need a bit of work in terms of marketing.

Great Applicant Tracking system

Pros

The best thing of this software is that it is very easy to use. I am able to track clients as well as candidates responses. It streamlined the whole recruiting process.

Cons

There is nothing that I dislikes about this software but sometimes it doesn't detect the duplicate resumes due to the updated contact details of candidates.

Big Biller is a Big Letdown

Pros

It is cheap, and seems like it offers a lot of great features for a Startup Recruiting Agency - Chance to partner or jobsplit jobs with other agencies allows for good opportunity to increase placements just through sheer volume of opportunities

Cons

Not really made to optimally support a Internal organization recruiter in my opinion. Also, the candidate fields make it a bit difficult to find candidates sometimes.

Great price for a small to med size recruiting firm

Pros

System is very easy to use, set up, has virtually every function a recruiter needs to track jobs and applicants, you dont need to be a tech expert to use the system and it keeps everyone on track and organized, there is almost no training needed to start the system.

Cons

Realized that the system is not compatiable with iMac products and does not integrate with all versions of Outlook so you will have to manually request resumes being uploaded.

Easy to use, good starter ATS

Pros

Great for a small firm not needing much. Good for organization, and keeping track of contact information.

Cons

Did not have much for reporting features or pipeline statistics. Sourcers were not able to keep track of pipeline health very well

Fantastic value for an ATS

Really solid product with a fantastic price point. Why spend more?

Pros

All the functions and features that you would expect from one of the 'Big Players' but at a way better price point. You can tell that this Product was designed by Recruiters for Recruiters. Great new Web-based interface. Really smart integration with LinkedIn. Good candidate-search functionality. Solid parsing tool. etc...

Cons

Overall, I'm extremely impressed with this product. Amazing what they are able to offer at that price point.

Big Biller is a straight to the point ,concrete and only made for recruiting tool ,it only focuses one thing to make maximum place with minimal search with the help of its powerful resume fetching qualities

Cons

This thing does not look good ,does not have internal job site creation ,calendar cannot be synced with outlook or google and many other small bugs but it can be ignored and worked on

Big Biller has a awesome techology of parsing resumes into categories to find the key parts in the resume, such as contact information, experience, skills etc ,helping us saving time by quickly identifying the strongest resumes

Effective recruiters identify highly qualified candidates software.

The most common problem I could solve by using Big Biller is that I can combine marketing tools with email. Thanks to this application I can get the essentials for tracking applicants.

Pros

What I like most about Big Biller is that thanks to the job publication tools it allows me to publish applications on the company's career site, in various industry-specific job sites and on social channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. This seems excellent to me.

Cons

One downside is that Big Biller right now is not compatible with Outlook integration. I hope you can develop this feature because it is very necessary. You can also say that the design is somewhat outdated, I think they should modernize its graphical interface.

Waited 2 years for their 'update' that was constantly being delayed!

Kept our candidate information, resumes, and notes secure. Also, was able to have an integration with their shared recruiting network.

Pros

Please note we switched ATS systems before their new 'update' was released.

Big Biller is the best Applicant Tracking System in the recruitment industry.

I am able to track responses of candidates, maintains my data.

Pros

It helps me to maintains clients as well as the candidates data, their, responses. Also I can send emails to number of candidates in one go. The best thing in this software is that we can set the stages for the candidates.

Cons

There is only one thing I dislikes about this software that sometimes the duplicate candidates are not detected due to new address and email of candidate while parsing the resume. This should be improve.

Very good software but lacked some of what we need.

Pros

The Top Echelon integration is great and was the biggest plus to using the software as it gains us business. The searches and ATS are average for what is currently out there.

Cons

It lacked the same features that many of the recruiting software out there lacks but they are all very specific to our business. We like datacodes and company info copying from the employer. Unfortunately, it does not do that.

Cons

I don't use it. I think it is a great system and if I had multiple users versus just myself than I would probably use it more often. But for the type of recruiting which I perform it has been difficult for me to break my work habits and use it on a daily basis.
