  • Pros

  • Canadian company that has excellent customer service. Easy to implement software solution and our customers love the instant reports that helps them with their tenant selection process.
  • Also I've had someone reach out to me to clarify things with me that would be best for our organisation so its really appreciated that they care about the user.
  • Tanya has been a great help and we appreciate her being so patient with us as we are learning the ins and outs.
  • Cons

  • No commercial credit checks (yet). This is borderline negative, but I expect this product to form a central part of risk management for all our clients' needs.
  • Only Con about this product is that it is not valid for all platforms, meaning criminal background report is not for all other companies that may need it.
  • The software leaves a lot of room for user error and can delay some applications.

  • It's super easy to use the platform, the customer service is OUTSTANDING. Always friendly and super helpful.
  • Beyond that the ease of use for both the company and the candidate, the quick turnaround, and the simplicity in reporting make the product fantastic.
  • I researched a handful of different companies to do background checks and was highly recommend GoodHire. I now recommend GoodHire to others as an easy-to-use platform that is affordable and quality.
  • Cons

  • It was frustrating coordinating with job, background check and making sure everything matched. There was a problem when I wrote the wrong end date to a job.
  • The downside is all of those additional checks add up in cost very quickly.
  • It is confusing because you don't ever get confirmation that the report you paid for is complete.
