Pros/Cons
Pros
- Overall very satisfied with this service and price point. Great choice for my needs and customer support has been responsive to my needs.
- Dualmon is a great solution to access my computer when on the move, just as good or better that the big boy programs whose prices have gone to their head.
- The support for user controls and remote printing for a fraction of the cost of Logmein Central won us over. Billing is straight forward and honest, and if desired, one can cancel from the dashboard.
Cons
- If I accidentally shut my computer down before leaving the office, I am unable to access my files, which can be a headache.
- Sometimes have issues viewing the remote computer when in QuickBooks. Then again, that could be "Operator Error.
- No facility to synchronise folders between computers. Easy to quit dualmon by mistake when quitting programs on the host computers.
Pros
- I set all my clients up with this if they want a reliable, easy to use remote desktop software. The app for iPad is super intuitive and it makes for a great travel.
- Super happy that there is a tool like this that exists. We would use it daily and it was good to have access to remote CPU's.
- I am able to access my work e-mail and my PC desktop. I feel like I am sitting at my desk at work and one of the really great features is the ability to print from my desktop to my printer at home.
Cons
- My only dislike is that I have to leave my PC on since this works on individual PC's versus a VPN on a server.
- Billing is inflexible - the auto-renew is difficult to stop.
- The size of the font is small, making it difficult to see sometimes. It does seem to be a hassle at times to log in (have to go through 2 logins).
