  • Pros

  • I love having the support staff to answer questions and helping with learning the program. Love the online payment portal for tenants.
  • We previously used another one and Buildium is so much more organized , easy to use and the support is amazing.
  • Cons

  • Hard to set up late fee charges for each unit. Even tenants paid on time and their balance is $0, the software post late fees and no option to modify settings.
  • For accountants it is frustrating with the reports. For our owners it is even more frustrating.

  • They have made the transition from our previous rental solution to MCS seamless. They work with the utmost professionalism and friendliness and are very approachable if we have any queries.
  • Our favourite part of MCS is the efficiency it brings to us as a business. For example, we save at least 10 minutes per contract when it comes to invoicing, as there is no need for manual processes.
  • Cons

  • Can be tricky to navigate some of the profiles and permissions.
  • Any small issues that have arisen have been solved “on the fly. Maybe WE will discover some issues in the future, but we have no worries about them being handled promptly on request.
