Excellent for tracking all our key metrics in one place
Overall, a great tool for tracking and building boards on high-level metrics.
PROSI love being able to have complete customizable control of my key metrics dashboard. It allows me a daily snapshot of how we're performing. Plus, being able to schedule snapshots be sent to Slack and email, etc. is great. I also love the goals feature, being able to put our metrics into context like this is great.
CONSSome of the integrations are a little lacking, meaning data isn't always super accurate or up-to-date. We definitely cannot use a Databox board as a undisputed source of truth to report on, but rather as a snapshot to see trends. E.g. our Ahrefs Domain Rating is hardly ever correct on the board. I also wish there was a little more functionality within the integrations, the options for what you can pull from ActiveCampaign and Intercom are pretty lacking. And I wish they had a ChartMogul integration too!

Great Product and Support!
Overall, It's very friendly to use, especially the way to organize templates to share across client accounts, create alerts, and native integrations with the most used platforms. A Big shoutout to the support team, which is responsive and ALWAYS resolves my questions/issues
PROSI love to centralize the KPIs in one place. While running campaigns through multiple platforms, Databox helps to create and calculate metrics to summarize all impressions, metrics, conversions, spending, etc. I am showing data in a fancy and easy way to monitor the metrics' performance.
CONSI've noticed some glitches. 1) After data is updated automatically, sometimes the dashboard doesn't seem to be updated, and to get the data updated, I need to change the date range and get back to the previous date range. 2) In the table settings >> multiple metrics can't sort based on the metric only manually; it would be great to sort dynamically ascending or descending3) I can't view log changes, Ex. If another college works on the same board, I can't see my changes vs. theirs.
Reasons for switching to Databox
Because the native connectors were only focused on Google Products and forced to have the Supermetrics license, which got very expensive (they upgraded the subscription to packages). Also, the visualization in GDS is very plain and simple.

Databox: Close, but no cigar...or even cigarillo ...
I work as the Director of Marketing Strategy at DD, which is an inbound marketing agency that services nonprofits and higher education institutions. We're a HubSpot certified partner agency and we were looking to Databox to help us make our client reports quicker, more interactive, and more robust. Databox's clean user-interface makes it really easy to notice trends...it also updates in almost real-time (if not real-time) which is helpful. The customizable dashboards are helpful as well...and there's no doubt that this tool is affordable to agencies like DD who need to report on a wide variety of metrics for 20+ accounts.
CONSWhile there are definitely some pros to Databox, there are also some key features that they are missing. For example, you can't customize date ranges for reports. You have to choose from a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis...but you can't choose "Feb. 3 2017 - Feb. 23 2018" for example. This makes reporting very challenging if, for example, you start an inbound engagement with a client during the middle of the year and want to report on 6 month efforts and 12 month efforts that don't align perfectly with the Jan - Dec calendar year. Additionally, while the user-interface is clean, it's almost TOO white...our clients have found it really difficult to discern between traffic sources and points in time. All of this is to say, I'm highly skeptical of reporting tools that don't let you customize the date and time of your reports...While Databox looks like 2018, it functions like 2010. We have cancelled our services as of now, but I have written emails and social posts to their product team and have encouraged them to "fix" the product and then come sell it to me again...

Robust Reporting Platform
Databox is highly customizable, allowing for white-labeling, custom reporting, and and offers a wide selection of native datasources that you can sync with out-of-the box.
CONSUnfortunately, their customer service can be a bit slow to respond to requests. Also, for more manual reports that utilize lots of texts and screenshots, there isn't much customization available to format text and images. This can make for reports that don't look great.
Reasons for switching to Databox
NinjaCat's UI wasn't great for creating custom reports and bringing in outside datasources. Also, the software crashed frequently and had too many bugs that slowed down our agencies reporting.

Great User-Friendly Reporting Software!
Databox is an extremely user-friendly, helpful data visualization tool that keeps all of your data in one beautiful report. It's so easy to provide insights to clients and it is an essential reporting software to our advertising agency.
PROSThe ability to share a report dashboard link directly with clients was an absolute game-changer. Not only do we have beautiful reports with clearly defined metrics and KPIs, but we also have live dashboards that answer any client questions on the spot. It is easy to create, maintain, and update dashboards throughout the month. Great reporting software for agencies!
CONSThe integrations to data sources are wonderful, however, there seems to be a lag with the data– the numbers don't always align with the live metrics we see in our ad platforms. We are an agency that loves data, so I wish you could customize the date ranges more than simply daily, weekly, or monthly. Overall, great software with very minor cons.

If you want to report from multiple sources at once then use this
It is extremely flexible and it solves the problem of creating reports using spreadsheets to pull in custom data. You also can display your report in a variety of different graphical styles. Once a report is created the viewer of the report can filter each graph by a specific date range. Once I got the hang of using Databox I've come to love how flexible and powerful it is and would recommend it to anyone who needs to create a custom report for their business.
PROSDatabox makes it easy to create custom reports from multiple sources. For example, I've created a single report using Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Normally this would be impossible in a single report. You can use many different sources and Databox has multiple integrations that help you get started. If there isn't integration you still upload custom spreadsheets and create a report from those. Within each report metric you can then filter down to the specific metric you want. You can also create calculated metrics to create your own metrics.
CONSThere can be a steep learning curve to get the exact metric you want. I had to spend a lot of time getting the correct filters and segments from Google Analytics. However, I was finally able to create those reports. There is also a huge amount of data you can analyze and figuring out the exact metrics to report on can be daunting. But that can also be a result of not figuring out the best KPI's before creating your report.

Excellent data analytics & visualiastion tool
It allows us to easily create reports based on our needs, take in different datasources and aggregate them, does not require you to be a data expert to use it and provides great insights. It also allows to set up email reports to go at certain times which makes your job even easierIt is the ultimate business intelligence tool
CONSI don't have a need for more integrations at the moment, but certainly he more platforms Databox can introduce the better

Blown away. Completely changed my household.
At-a-glance view of everything I need to know about my business and household.
PROSI think most people use software like this to track their business outcomes, but my wife and I? Nope. I mean yes, I have my mailchimp and social media results on there, but also bank balances, to-do lists from Google Sheets, all kinds of stuff across two cheap monitors that just sit in the corner of our house. You'd think that'd be anxiety inducing but it's the opposite - I wake up every day, know where my business is at, know where my finances are at, have the "honey-do's" all prepared, and even see the weather. I LOVE this program. Yeah it's a little more expensive than others but 100% worth it for the extra integrations. Recommend without hesitation.
CONSIt should be free for everyone everywhere, airdropped by satellite into rural villages with API manuals. ... no really though, it could be cheaper; there are iOS / Apple TV equivalents that are a quarter as expensive. If it weren't for the breadth of integrations I'd consider something else - but between those and all I can do aesthetically, it's a no-brainer.

This was a game changer for my digital marketing business
Amazing. I love this tool.
PROSOk, so I was desperately looking for an affordable platform to centralize my reporting for my clients. Most things that I found were either too expensive or too limited. I tested many free reporting tools - not enough connections. I tested the "free trial" of the big guys - great, feature-rich, and waay out of my budget. Then I came across Databox and I have to tell you, it has been a complete game changer for me. The Free version allows you to connect 10 clients to 3 data sources for reporting but then I discovered that I could easily afford the next level upgrade version, which allowed me to enhance my reports with up to 10 data sources for 10 clients. The setup was extremely simple and once I created the dashboards and scorecards, I was able to click a button and create an easy to understand report for my clients. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is struggling to keep up with the reporting for their marketing clients.
CONSHonestly, nothing. Maybe that I have to pay for it to use it, but that's business.

Databox - Easiest Data Visulation Tool
i do love it. it's something i'm planning on bringing with me if i ever switch jobs. i like how easy it is. at first we were about to cancel databox cause no one knew how to work with it. once i learned the specific way you needed to set up the code then i was like THIS IS EASY and now have made way too many dashboards
PROSthe visualizations are great and is easy to customize. I always thought Tableau was too much. Databox gives you nice-looking dashboards without it being overall flashy or complicated
CONSI wish the dashboards were bigger so i could fit more information. or i wish i could connect them and make it so i can scroll to see the different dashboards. but really i wish they could be organized better. it's nice that people can organize the way they want but i wish by default the order was what i set. i also wish there were folders so i could group the marketing dashboards all in 1 spot then give everyone access to that folder instead of one by one. so i try to color code the dashboards to make it easier but not everyone is going to get that. i also don't like that anyone can share the datawall of a dashboard and then they get added to the account. i wish there was a verification process that would notify me when someone new is trying to view a dashboard. but b/c people can just share i see random emails get created and i want to be able to have more control of our data and make sure they are seeing only the things they should be seeing

Nice balance of functionality and price
I liked Databox while I used it. It's not a BI tool by any means but it does have a few options to allow you to transform your data. They also have some cool options for tracking goals and the mobile app is leaps and bounds better than the competition.
PROSThe visuals look awesome on the computer, TV, and phone. I was impressed with how easy it was to create a metric.
CONSOnce the metrics are on the dashboard there isn't much else you can do with them. It lacks some of the basic functionality that I'd expect such as dragging to zoom into a certain section of the chart or even hovering over the comparison line to see the exact value.

An incredible tool for aggregating and visualizing data
To collect data from several sources to keep track of metrics and KPIs in a single location. In general, we utilize it to keep tabs on sales, marketing, and the overall financial health of the business. Dashboards and widgets make it simple to keep tabs on where we are and how things are progressing.
PROSWith Databox, creating custom reports from many sources is a breeze. Google Analytics and Google Search Console, for example, have been combined into a single report. Normally, this wouldn't be possible in a single report, but it was in this case. To get started, you can leverage a variety of different data sources and Databox's many integrations. Even if integration is not possible, you can still upload your spreadsheets and produce a report from them. Each report metric has a metric that can be narrowed down to the exact one you desire. Calculated metrics can also be used to create your metrics.
CONSThe data periods are difficult to align, but this is due to the various data sources rather than the program itself, as some of the settings are a little quirky. As I progressed further into custom metrics, this should not be a problem for the customer looking for a standard dashboard.

Great Reporting and Analytics Solution
Overall, my experience with Databox has been great. The positives of using a powerful and effective tool like Databox outweigh any negatives that I can currently think of.
PROSThe best thing about Databox is its flexibility. You are able to display nearly anything that you'd like as long as the integration is supported. Reporting can be automated and streamlined, saving time.
CONSThere is a bit of a learning curve initially. However, it is not impossible to figure it out by any means. I think greater resources and the implementation of these resources in easy-to-locate areas would be great.

Crucial to unlock business insights
Essential tool to reduce silos and get insights across all areas of the company. We got overblown with the tons of marketing data we could get with a few clicks and are big fans of Databox’s funnel visualisation which is one of the best in the market. We then extended Databox to all other areas and we’re now showing different datawalls in different screens throughout our office floor.
PROSEasy to use. Being able to input data from different sources. Carousel mode to show different dashboards on the same screen. Great Support team.
CONSNo Cons really but it would rock even more if it had drill down capability

A complete 3rd party analytics software.
I like the idea to see all the views of my google Chanel under one dashboard. UI is simple and working with multiple accounts is just very easy.
PROSSignup is very fast with google, and without the password, it is more secure as my google have two-way auth. I use our youtube channel statistics and some ads result under one dashboard. All the URL and video views give me an idea about my general and shared video views. It is workes on API so my data does not get altered and the reporting is really nice. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting features are really convenient to use. All my channels statistics I can view under one dashboard and one login. I event don't have to log on to the all account to see all the daily views. The connection or integration is just flawless, but not all the options are free. When I tried google sheets to get a report from it I found it is included with paid plans. But the free plan offers enough for me to connect 2 of my channel and see about them.
CONSNot all the integration, some of them are very commonly available are available to use with all plans. I need to upgrade to use with google sheets, which is available for free.

Absolutely amazing Tool
Databox is our daily KPI tool and has helped us to increase our value and traffic. It's one of the overall best tools I've ever seen with its amazing selection of templates, wide and an I mean really wide range of possible Integration of Tools, and more!
PROSThe easy integration across a different platform that leverages Big Data in an instance to provide useful insight.
CONSI'd say the modification for the KPI's could feature a bit more Modification in terms of more Team Roles Setup

Databox has great features and is very intuitive
It was easy to self onboard, start trial and connect some sources. Second-to-none support via Intercom. Setting up datacards and data-blocks is an experience (positive :) by itself, all drag and drop and animated. I wish all my apps were like that. When you get a grip on how it all works, it's a piece of cake.
PROSBeautiful app and charts, I've tried probably all competing products, but none looked this good. Powerful features, intuitive setup...
CONSQuite a lot of connectors to 3rd party services, but I could use more of them. I've contacted them and many are in beta phase and coming soon, so this will be a non-issue soon. I managed to connect other, currently not directly supported sources like Google Spreadsheets via Zapier and my customer database via MySQL connector. So there are plenty of possible work-arounds.

Business analytics made beautiful. A really nice app.
Found this searching for a way to convert my Spreadsheet data to charts. Worked great and it has beautiful charts. But then I found out it does much more. Now I have my Spreadsheet, Google Analytics and Mixpanel data all connected in one app. Makes it much easier to stay on top of the numbers. And I have a couple of datawalls set up, so I can show the numbers to my customers if needed by just turning on the tv. Works great.
PROSSimple to connect different data sources and have all the data in one place. Web site allows for advanced setups, but maybe not so simple to use. Beautiful mobile visualizations. Datawalls are really useful. Good value for money.
CONSNeeded a Zapier account to connect to Spreadsheets, but on the other hand Zapier allows me to add many other sources.

Need To View Analytics? This is the Tool.
Fantastic! I absolutely love the software and think its brilliant for anyone who has several places to get reports.
PROSThe software is great if you have several things you have to view all at once. This also runs really well once things are setup and moving along. You will have to sink time into it, but its worth it.
CONSThe biggest issue is it takes time to properly set up. Once you have the software set up properly, it's easy to use. So be prepared to sink some time into it.

We have set up our dashboard within one day using Google sheets and the dashboard contains more than 5k data the visualization was very perfect.
PROSI like the customer support and User Interface. It's very easy to build and it has a lot of pre templates. We can use any templates and change them according to our needs.
CONSDatabox have to think about a free version for google sheets. AS Google already has the dashboard called the "Google data studio" version where anyone can freely set up their dashboard without any hustle. So if it is only for google sheets then the databox must think about a free version.

So easy to use and great visualisation
Its absolutely brilliant that they allow you to connect up to 4 social media accounts without having to pay. Social media isn't top of the list at our company so all we really need is Google Analytics and Linkedin. Once everything was set up and linked and I had spent a bit of time customising the boards all I have to do now is update and share them each month for the directors meeting. Super easy!
CONSIts obviously a very complex piece of software and I'm sure there are things it does that I don't even know about yet.

Great, Plug & Play and affordable product for mobile access
We have been searching a solution like Data Box for a long time. It is powerful, has the WOW effect, is easy to build and very important, very affordable. Apart from connecting to several cloud services really in a few clicks (twitter, Google Analytics, CRMs, etc), we can connect DIRECTLY to our customer databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server). It allows us to build customized dashboards based on metrics.

Dashboard that I was looking for years!!!
I've been looking for such service for couple of years... That can combine my sales data (I send it from WooCommerce via Zapier) with Google Analytics and Google Ads/Facebook Ads in one simple mobile app. That is so much easy to monitor everything I need... no.of leads from Active Campaign through Zapier, no. of unsubscribers, expenses - Google Sheet via Zapier ... everything finally comes together to a cool looking dashboard on my iPhone.
PROSDashboards look very nice and are very flexible. With Zapier you can get any data to the Databox
CONSI wish they add direct integration with WooCommerce
