I like the Slack integration and the ability to monitor competitor brand names. Good data analysis charts too.

It is straight forward and extremely easy to use.

Positive for basic monitoring of brand on the free version.

I also like that it can also scan Twitter for brand mentions, leading to a more prominent media article that I always miss in Google alerts.

I'm testing the service and the API we are so happy with the results and the support person James William Hughes  is so awesome.

You would think for the amount of money they spend you could do something more with the software. Pricing is just outrageous.

Since using mention it has cut down the amount of time been taken up keeping track of all the different social media channels as the software does it all for you. You can even set it to post for you.

One alert monitoring is available for free. I like that all the interesting for me keyword mentions from the whole Internet, including social pages and forums, are collected and stored in one place.

There is an added cost to include traditional news sources like TV & Radio, but the extra cost makes the overall package more expensive than other solutions on the market.

I really like that you can integrate this with Slack. It makes it easy to keep on top of brand mentions as soon as they come in.

You will get instant notification of your mentions. This is really helpful for brand reputation monitoring and link  building.

I noted that sometimes mentions especially on different forums can be missed by this tool.

There are several features that allow you to better engage with your community. There is also a nice high level analytics report tool to assess your metrics.

They'll threaten to sue you and blah blah blah. Not sure if we are going to pay them or sue for breach.

Pricing for the Ultimate plan strikes me as excessive. I have my clients on the Professional pan.

It can be a little intimidating at first but those more you delve into the many options, the more familiar it becomes.

Overall, Yext is great with an active subscription. Once cancelled, basically starting from ground zero w/ the previous directories.

About five years ago they had a fantastic sales person who provided tons of support and made sure things were quickly resolved.

It is easy to add locations, citations are built VERY quickly, customization abilities for each location are really nice too.

Support is very helpful during setup phase and the interface of the tool is very easy to use.

Poor customer service, especially during the Covid period.

We love the platform because it is easy to use and does not require daily monitoring.

After you pay the money, customer service is horrible.

Price is kind of high, but their service is worth it. Their support is really great and responsive too.

We have been able to save time and allow our clients proper NAP across all platforms that Yext pushes to. I look forward to more integrations in the future.

For the price, I just don't see the value, the vast majority of the search engines and directories they list are useless, especially for small businesses.

I love how many directories are associated w/ Yext. When the subscription is live, this boosts SEO tremendously.

BUT...Yext makes it a thousand times easier. The user interface is very user friendly, the customer support is amazing and the results speak for themselves.

They are always there to help and the software is easy to navigate.

It's direct API connections into the various publishers ensure that our client's updates get published within seconds.

I've used Yext for over a decade with both for-profit and nonprofit businesses. I think of it as the great teacher and a perfect first step for small businesses.

Accounts on many external platforms can be easily integrated into Yext, which helps ensure information is always consistent and saves time.

Being able to manage 60 plus local directories from what one dashboard. I also liked the intelligent search feature as well as knowledge tags.
