A tool suitable to bring the IREB CPRE methodology of Requirements Engineering to praxis
I use objectiF RM for the Requirements Engineering of products as well as services.The created models / diagrams hepls me to validate my understnding of elicited requirements with my customers.
PROSI like most on the tool RM, that it supports the process of Requirements Engineering and especially the Requirments Management, from the very beginning of a project and that all the requirements are stored in a model repostory.Also the features for configuring the tool to individual demands (defining data entry forms or defining model analytics)Finally for my usage of RM the always quickly availlable support from the vendor is important for me.Very helpful is also the Interface to Jira.
CONSI miss from UML Sequence Diagrams. And some easier ways to define Attrbutes in Class Diagrams.

After an evaluation it was to much text-oriented for me and I missed the diagramming functions at the time of my evaluation.

The tool is optimal supporting the methodology of IREB CPRE for me.

Sehr leistungsfähige Software mit anspruchsvoller Lernkurve
Attraktives Lizenzmodell, hat sehr hohen Gebrauchswert, wird von einem engagierten Team begleitet. Kann alles was uns wichtig ist (und sogar mehr).
PROSBietet sehr viele Features. Starker Unterstützung von Modellierungs-Aspekten. System Design kann somit ein Projekt sehr gut begleiten und unterstützen
CONSAnspruchsvoller Lernaufwand um die Software gut zu betreiben. Unterstützung mit Tutorials und Hilfe-Seiten jedoch vorhanden. Trotzdem zusätzlicher Aufwand zum Lernen/Verstehen erforderlich um das o.g. Potential effektiv auszuschöpfen.

ObjectIF RM/RPM helps me to design SW-products and to keep all persons involved perfectly informed
Overall experience is pretty good, and we plan to use it in further areas and details.
PROSthere are several things I really like, requirements engineering, traceability, holistic view.We use it together with our customer as a project platform.
CONSI do not miss features. But some times I wish it could be more easy to use. Because it is really powerful and huge it is not so easy to overview everything.
