The other difficulty I will mention is their method of verifying the software registration, which has caused us some problems.

I only kept it because I had to pay for it and could not get my money back.

Our store gets extremely busy on Fridays and holidays, and it is critical that we have a reliable, fast and easy POS system to keep our lines moving and our loyal customers happy.

It's quirky to run as a stand alone product for CC processing on OTC transactions at the Front Desk or cafe.

Price is not everything, and looking for a solution that is flawless is not realistic.

Navigation is very simple, and my favorite part is the ability to know stock levels and prices with a quick few keystrokes. Saves tons of time, and in retail settings, time is very important.

Integration with Quickbooks. It looked good on the demo.

It also integrates with and stores data in QuickBooks which provides a powerful, mature platform for product entry, inventory management and reporting.

Customer service support is not available on weekends and should you have an emergency with the software that is a negative.

All around great system and a great company definitely worth giving a look.

My biggest struggle with this software was accurately tracking cost of waste. The only other issue was getting the printing system to work correctly.

When it works it is easy to use. In theory it is a great program...in theory.

Its great for restaurants because it enables communication between the different points.

It has a nice feature to connect directly to your Quickbooks for a small fee, which could also save someone countless hours of work.

And when you did, you were lucky to get one that understood the software enough to help with it.

PC's crash, they hang, and always at the worst time, of course you need to choose your Credit card processor carefully too.

I recommend taking the demo if you have not, it's a great system. The touch screen and receipt printer are amazingly fast, and well worth it.

I like almost all parts.it's very nice design. Also, it has good functionality.

Any errors just happen, the zero process simply fails with no indication of what the cause might be.

Also, at our location we have redundant, load-balanced Internet connections and there have been ongoing problems with our registration being validated to a specific IP address.

Once you have made your selection, be aware that implementation of the POS system is going to be a challenge no matter which one you choose.

Customer service is great, very helpful, and easy to get a hold of.

With every sales import, the database integrity got worse by a few cents. A bug in the integration software messed up our accounting.

But this still does not eliminate a Receipt transaction in Sage 50 to apply the payment. AccuPOS messed up our accounting.

It’s like moving from a Prius, (tried and true) to a Ferrari which is slick perfection. A POS system must be logical and intuitive.

We also had great support for training and development for our employees. In addition we found many reports we could use to help make projections for growth.

Software is easy to use. Customer service is very helpful to resolve technical problems.

Overall my experience with this software was horrible. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Overall, extremely poor customer service, lack of timely follow up, a constant change in personnel and ultimately they did not deliver on the Professional Services outlined in the contract.

The support from Petrosoft was very disappointing and I spent a considerable sum with my accountant while he tried to help them sort out the issues (we eventually abandoned the effort entirely).

Navigation is difficult with odd menu positions and names for links. Data between reports often does not tie.

It takes twice as long to go back and figure out what someone else has messed up so that you can go back in and fix it.

Trying to pull reports for something and you have to go to many different places to get report. Adding multiple UPCs to one item can be a little difficult.

I like the cstore mobile app as it updates me about my store sales/profits real quick.

Unfortunately, I had used the software for a year before recognizing its deficiencies and have only continued to use it because of the difficulty associated with moving to a new software.

It helps tremendously with the overall operations of our locations. It brought our stores from marginal to profit makers.

The accounting interface with quick books was unusable for my application, probably due to formula errors in the C Store office software.

Multiple Years with System- and we are still growing with it.

Now we have to fight them to reimburse our for the funds we paid upfront.

I run multiple computer platforms for different areas of our company, and this is by far my favorite because it is both easy to use and is very stable and doesn't lose information.

Once we signed up and I called him concerning an issue he was extremely rude on the phone with me and I never got the issue resolved. Their representative was so unprofessional.

If anything it made inventory harder because they would change retail pricing and had everything under the wrong vendors, departments and categories.

Very positive and highly recommend the software and the company. Many options for expanding features as needed.

I was excited about getting software to get our store's inventory straightened out.

Cstore overall is a great company to work for.

Many of the reports in its portfolio appear to have formulaic errors and produce data that is unusable.

The upfront cost is small to none and it is very easy to use.
