It was already in place when I purchased my laundromats, but a year later, I'm moving to another POS because I'm just tired of the lack of ownership of issues. I'm a former software engineer and product manager and if I had run any of my products the way CleanCloud PMs seem to run CleanCloud, I would not have lasted long. Ratings Breakdown 3 Ease of use 2 Value for money 2 Customer support 3 Functionality Pros: It's a decent POS software for laundries. Inventory management works great. Cons: Honestly it's just ok. It does most things OK, very little great. It does things like when you're in the admin area, every time you save a change, it kicks you back out to the Home Screen, so you have to click on Admin again and go back into it if you want to change more than one thing. And there are outright bugs like with promo codes where if you start to use a promo code for a customer but then never complete the order, that promo code is now unusable for the customer, even though they never actually used it. And then, any time you submit anything like that as a bug, the standard answer is ALWAYS, that's how it's designed. If you would like it to work differently, you can post a suggestion in the user forums that customers can vote on. Not once has CleanCloud ever acknowledged that something might be a bug. They are easy to work with and i love the webnars when they do updates. Great communication. I appreciate the fact that every customer is updated through the process from when it is picked up to when it is delivered. The fact that they can get updates via text or email allows me to close more deals with customers knowing they have control during the process. Cons: The lack of flexibilty in your payment plan. I prefure payment mid month for the next month but they only allow on the first of the month and you cant prepay unless you pay the whole year i. Advance. Anytime I had an issue, it seemed like a dedicated team of coders would tweak my system to make it work for me. It’s fast, modern, and has helped me make new customers and retain them. Well worth the purchase. The fact that I can use my iPhone as the entire POS is amazing, just log into CleanCloud from any browser and you’re ready for business. Also, I got to keep all my hardware, these guys made their software work for me, NO other company did that for me. Cons: There really aren’t many things that stood out as unlikeable aside from the price. I would love to pay less for this product but I cannot say that i am not getting my worth from it. It is not a US based company, but they have dedicated staff to help you with all issues via email, although calling would be easier sometimes, but I rarely have issues to begin with once I completed set up. Reasons for switching to CleanCloud Horrendous customer service, Computer systems international will go out if their way to rip you off and purposefully provide you with low quality/old hardware to make you dependent on them to fix all the issues that come with that. They don’t answer phone calls, and seems to be a 1 or 2 man show, meaning the entire company is really just a couple of guys in their garage. Credit card integration was nearly non existent.
