No incentive was offered Clover uses Commerce Sync reconcile transactions for bookkeeping purposes into Quickbooks. Both Clover and Commerce Sync, carry monthly fees on top of renting or buying equipment, which is fine. The bookkeeping process to take credit card transactions from Clover to reconcile Quickbooks is painstakingly long with many steps. This was time intensive and not efficient for what it is. Other credit card processing systems have half the steps. This did not work for my small business. The device itself was modern, fast and user friendly, which was too bad that it didn't work out on the back end. I was outside of 30 days dissatisfaction window (less than 45 days), so I got whacked with a $750 early termination. So, the fee, plus $850 to buy terminal, plus $112/mo for Clover, $31/mo for Commerce Sync.....THIS WAS A HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 1/5 - Value for money: 1/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros Modern terminal, user friendly. Clover was not able to do everything it promised us it would, but we have adjusted our practices to continue. #### Cons A duplicate charge caused by clover system during a service outage cannot be refunded—by me or by their support team. After spending a long time in chat, being told repeatedly the issue was resolved (it wasn’t), I was ultimately told nothing could be done. Meanwhile, my customer is double charged. This is unacceptable for a payment processor in 2026.
