Game changer for my business

A software has definitely helped improve my overage cost for supplies and perishables as well as under selling myself

PROS

I absolutely love that the software I was able to streamline my business in so many ways. The stem counter is priceless and helps me save so much money when I order flowers. I love being able to see average cost of each stem it helps me price designs accurately maximizing my profit. The invoicing feature makes everything so convenient and easy for my clients to make payments. I can't wait to see all the future features they will be implementing over the next few months and looking forward to being able to sync my calendar with my booked events.

CONS

The cost has significantly increased since I started using the software when it was first released.

I LOVE Details!

I wish I could include more inspiration images than one per item. I wish I could move images to fit the home page better.

Details worked most intuitively for me immediately. Love writing proposals because of Details!

I have been using Details software since 2018 and have really not had a problem. The little hiccups that I have had the support staff has been on top of the problem.

PROS

I like the setting up my own recipes. The look and being able to change templates for different Brides. All the info that the Bride sees when they get their proposal.

CONS

I would love to be able to see the address where the flowers will be delivered to, not just the venue location. My Brides really get confused by that little tid bit.

Review of Details Software

PROS

I like that I can create and keep recipes and present a proposal with a professional and professional look. It is helpful but I think it could be more streamlined.

CONS

I would like to flexibility to customize the proposals so they do not look like the proposals from other florists using the software. I am not impressed with some of the templates (maybe I am not using them to make mine look unique) I would not pay for the ones from high end florists which cost a lot of money. I do not need another florists vision to present my work.

Details Flower Review

I honestly could go either way. Like I said, I do love the look once everything is together, but I feel like some of the design features need tweaking. I previously used Canva to create mood boards and I loved the flexibility it provided. With all of that being said, your customer service is absolutely amazing and I've never left a call feeling like my issues weren't resolved.

PROS

I love that my proposal and contract are all in one place. It makes it so easy for my client to sign. The proposal looks nice and is easy for my client to follow.

CONS

Many of the stock photos are pixelated, so I am constantly having to upload my own (which takes more time). When designing the cover page of my proposal, I wish the software allowed you to crop photos because I am spending a lot of time trying to find a photo to fit in the spaces provided

The most proficient floral tool we have ever used

Overall our experience with Details has been fantastic, Our profits have gone up. Not because we are charging more but because we are better managed with this program. Details has moved us to the next level in our wedding and party work.

The ease of set up along with very professional contracts that set us apart from our competitors

CONS

The only thing that is a thorn in my side is the fee for credit card processing. I know everyone has fees but I think this should be negotiable based on the amount you process through in a year.

Amazing, easy to use, cuts time

Excellent customer service and ease of learning the program.

PROS

Love that this cuts so much of my work out by auto pulling from the worksheet and creating the proposal. Before this I could spend hours putting a recipe sheet together and then doing the proposal as well and making sure everything matches with the purchase orders. With this it's all in one and I don't need to go and check everything all the time to make sure the changes went through all my paperwork, if I did it in one spot then the system changes it in all the other spots.

I don't have any complaints at this time.

Great program to streamline our business

We are solving our pricing guidelines this program by being able to see the cost of each flower and item being added to each individual recipe, and minimizing errors in our client contracts which was also costing us in the end

PROS

This software greatly helped minimize errors in simple math, floral orders & recipes, and overall quantities on our client proposals . We have a pretty large inventory for a small company , so updating the item gallery to reflect each and every item took some time but overall transferring our previous client contracts to the software was pretty simple.

CONS

The biggest feature we feel is missing is a feature to track amounts of inventory sold on each individual day and notify when an item is oversold. We have spoken with your team & know the feature is on the way, which we will benefit from . Otherwise the only other issues we've had are glitches in search bars inside a worksheet / proposal

Game Changing Software!

Customer support is stellar and everyone is always so friendly and helpful. They have to be rolling their eyes when I call because I feel like I call all the time but they never make you feel like you have a dumb question or you're wasting their time. If they don't have an answer, which is rare, they will get you one within a day.

PROS

I love the overall beauty of the finished proposal and my brides love it too. I love not having to do math in my head anymore, on the fly, with a bride sitting next to me and the pressures on. I can work on the proposals on my time and the software tallies as I go. This keeps my profits up and I can set my prices higher if I'm not sure what I will be charged by my suppliers. It takes the guess work out of everything! There really is no need to meet in person anymore unless the brides choose to.

CONS

One update I don't like at all is having to save all the time. This never used to be. It gets old and takes time. If you don't save you lose your changes and you can't leave a page without a save. The software is prompting you to save, even after a save, just when you want to go to another page. This is something they really need to fix. Also no customer support on weekends. I'm busy working 7 days a week so to be down for 2 and a half days is annoying sometimes.

Professional and Beautiful Proposal Templates

Details Software has helped to elevate our business to the next level by giving us better pricing tools and beautiful proposals that our brides absolutely love. It allows us to really show our brides that we understand their vision and can bring it to life.

PROS

I love how this software helps me to keep my prices and margins where they should be, there is no more guessing or uncertainty. I have a much clearer picture of what my costs are going in so I can quote and budget with confidence. The proposal templates are so organized and beautiful. I feel like they really give me that wow factor when sending proposals to prospective brides.

CONS

I wish that the worksheet would auto save instead of me having to hit the save button. I have lost info a few times when I didn't save on one device and then opened the document on another device.

Game Changer!

Overall, I've been very pleased with the software! After you get used to using it, you realize how flexible it is in the options, and it gets super easy to use.

PROS

Everything changed for the better when I started using Details. Getting an accurate, beautiful, professional proposal out the door faster, made my life easier. More importantly, it helped create client confidence. I love having everything at my fingertips in one place, and Details does a good job of making you feel like you're part of a 'community' with their additional resources. I can't imagine running my business without it.

CONS

The resources, design board, gallery isn't super intuitive to use, so it takes some time to get used to it. However, Details continues to make updates, and listens to feedback.

Reason for choosing Details Flowers

I looked briefly at a few different products, but Details had the best marketing materials (I was able to watch a video before committing to anything), customer service, and pricing incentives. Also, the free trial gave me an opportunity to try it out before buying. All of these things, gave me the confidence to jump in.

Love Details!

Wonderful! Definitely recommend Details!

Details has been super helpful in many different ways for my company. Not only am I able to present beautiful proposals to my clients but it allows my team members to help with proposals and learn the process of detailed designing. Clients really appreciate visual aspects so this program truly gives us that extra specialty service that our clients love and value.

CONS

I would love to see an option to where you can separate out the grooms portion on the proposal. We like to send them over a separate invoice for the items they handle which is traditionally the bride's bouquet, mother's/grandmother's nosegays and boutonnieres and it would be super helpful if we could do this within the existing proposal. :) I would also love to see easier search features. Sometimes the florals I am searching in the database will not pull up unless I place it in the search bar exactly how it reads. Happy to explain this if it sounds confusing.

Love Details!

I have seriously been thrilled with Details. In my own personal dream world they could add a CRM and drop the stupid stem counter but I am sure my needs differ a bit from others.

PROS

I love the way the proposals look, It is super straightforward to use, never a glitch or problem and excellent customer support by phone.

CONS

The stem counting feature just gets in my way. It is just not for me.

Reasons for switching to Details Flowers

I switched from HoneyBook for the appearance of the proposals. I have been told so, so many times that the look of the 14 page proposal sold the job. Details is responsible for selling 100's of thousands of jobs for me!! On the flip side it is not possible to do a quick proposal for a 2000.00 job and that is more than half my business so that is a bummer but at under 2000.00 a year Details is a steal.

Wonderful!

Details has been a life changer when it come to proposals. It has helped increase how closing ratios and bookings. It so easy for the client to understand and they love the creative design it has to offer. Almost every bride mentions how excited they are after seeing their proposal because it helps them see their vision coming to life.

PROS

I love how each client's proposal is so personal and is so easy for them to understand. I love how detailed the proposals are for the client and how easy they are to understand.

CONS

The update is a little confusing at times. I wish that the current page would move the booked clients completely over, instead of having them all potential clients in a catch all area.

This is my first year using a CRM program and it really keeps me organized with less work.

PROS

I appreciate that they are constantly updating the software based on feedback. The new dashboard is so helpful!!!! The ability to create recipes and have them translate into an easy stem count order form has saved me a lot of time. I love that the system tracks payments (I used to use a spreadsheet) and has an integrated cc processing system. It also ensures all your items are correctly added. (I used to use a spreadsheet and had issues with formulas not integrating newly added items. No more mistakes now that I use this system.) The template gives a professional product to share with my clients. I love the ability to hide sections that I don't feel are necessary, customize images, have the contract terms and financials all integrated into 1 document. Genius to be able to mail clients a link and have them electronically sign it. Also great to be able to expire the proposal to discourage price shoppers. Great customer service. Whenever I get stuck, they call me back and are friendly and patient.

CONS

Empty pages within the proposal. I would love the ability to hide them. I realize it has to do with automatic page breaks, but it bothers me. Wish I could adjust contract and payment terms at an individual level. ex: standard terms are great for normal clients, but I have several last minute customers where we need abbreviated payment terms. If I change it at the company level, it changes all my existing and future contracts.

worth every penny

PROS

I love how organized and aesthetic this software platform is. I love how it's easy to write recipes and ensure that what I'm charging my clients is what I'm providing. I love how easy it is to generate workflow documents for my team. I love how getting paid by clients is super easy and streamlined. I've been using Details Flowers Software since it first was launched and I have loved it and every update that they have created to save me time and benefit my business ever since. CONS

I would love the option to manipulate and alter the templates so as to ensure that my proposals look different and unique from my competitors, who may be using the same software, and on-brand and in alignment with my aesthetics.

How could any floral designer live without this software?

PROS

Creating clients and events is incredibly easy. There is a space to note almost any pertinent information for each event, which makes for simpler logistical planning and better trend tracking. The background capabilities of the software make building recipes and proposals easier than the world's best spreadsheet ever could. Compiling event-specific photos, each line item's details, company terms and conditions, and financial breakdowns in one clean document makes proposals look great! Web-based signatures and payments are perfect for the tech-forward world!

CONS

It would be so helpful if inspiration photos could be organized into different categories, instead of "ALL" and "Event Inspiration." I think we would benefit if the automatic updates to event information would include sending/opening the document so that we know when a client has viewed the proposal.

Easy, Flexible, Affordable magic for any Event and Wedding Planners

Easier to book clients, order product, pull inventories, and make my life as a planner more efficient of time and MONEY!!!

PROS

The ability to show not only all the flowers available, but also your in house inventory, linens, structures and misc products. It counts my stems, pulls my inventory, reminds me of payments due, stores contracts, coordinates my life as a planner. It basically is my Assistant....I can reach out to clients not only from my studio , but on any device tablet even my phone if I am out in the field. Instead of rummaging through files and trying to decipher my own handwriting, I can pull up every detail of a clients event including other vendors, timing, and wholesalers, swiftly and accurately.

CONS

With Details Flowers' team, there is nothing I don't like about the software. They are always there to listen to their clients (us)about what could work more efficiently and they are constantly implementing new tools.

The Software that Transformed my Business

We love how you transformed our brand, so we are here for the long haul. It’s been a little bumpy but nothing I would complain about. Thank you for making such a great quality product.

PROS

I love so many things about this software, but my absolute favorite is how it completely Elevated my company. I now have amazing proposals to share with my clients, that set expectations to a T. I’m no longer loosing money by quoting incorrectly or by wearing my heart on my sleeve and just giving it all away. I now actually make money!!

CONS

I would love for the program to automatically save the changes I make from page to page. I would also like a back end where I can easily manage all payments for multiple events instead of going into each one separately.

Major time saver and easy system

PROS

We love using this system! Since signing up over two years ago, our business has double due to beautiful proposal layout/time saver. So easy to use and the company is top notch on all areas!!

CONS

We would like to see photos of the flowers when we print out our cost list aka Blooms and Greenery and on recipe list for ordering/designing.

Details increased my profit margin!

DetaIls has helped me become more confident in my pricing structure. Streamline and save time on my proposal process and overall book more weddings! It has enabled me to be more organized in ordering and managing my hard goods, as well as pieces to be designed and picked up from events.

PROS

I love having my inventory all in one place for easy access.

CONS

I don't like the templates- they're not very customizable and as a designer being able to customize fonts and layouts is super important to me and is really my only complaint about this software.

So excited to use this "all in one" Floral software!

All inquiries, leads, proposals and payment records are in one single platform. We were previously using Excel, Google Docs, other online accounting software and payment tools. We can easily predict floral costs, markups and profitability. This has been KEY for us in running our business better than we ever have before. We are relatively new users and absolutely loving it!

PROS

Very easy to use - and fun to "play" in! The proposal is already 90% formatted and only requires quick tweaks and image uploads to personalize for each client. Can work to generate quick proposals or very detailed ones with floral recipes, markups, etc. depending on what you need. The training and the availability of support personnel to answer questions or schedule one on one sessions is fantastic. It also seems like Details' staff continuously works to make improvements and updates to the software. Excited to see where things are headed and what other features will be added in the new year.

CONS

This is all internet based so must have a stable connection in order to perform work (sometimes seems to "Freeze" or get stuck for me, but may be my Internet). Intended for use on a laptop or desktop - not easy to navigate on mobile. Hoping that in the future, orders for same weekends/delivery dates can be automatically combined into a single quote request to the wholesaler.
