Customer Service

Evosus is an extremely comprehensive program. It's perfect for our business with the exception of the payroll. It has a feature Job Costing which is very helpful for tracking jobs and expenses including payroll, worker's comp, materials, sub contractors, everything.

Pros

The support team rep is AWESOME!!! She makes herself available, is patient and thorough. She cares about her customers.

Cons

When we purchased the software in 2013 I think Evosus was a smaller company. Payroll was included and they would assist with upgrades. They stopped payroll part way through the year in 2017 and I felt stranded. They no longer provide support for upgrades like before.

Reasons for Choosing LOU

"Looking for an "All Inclusive Program" including payroll (which is no longer offered).

Thanks very much for your review Kathy. We'll be in touch soon about the new cloud based version of our software, and even better options for you.

The Evosus software and the support team that supports it is second to none!

Integrated Accounting Inventory Controls Improved Efficiencies with one point of data entry Ability to setup step by step sales invoices with options tailored to each product Ability to setup troubleshooting scripts for the service department Excellent mobile app for service and delivery etc...etc..etc...

Pros

It's a fully integrated ERP system which ties accounting, inventory, POS, sales, and service together in a very user friendly GUI environment. It has improved the efficiency of our business by eliminating duplicate and triplicate data entry and it gives us much greater control over our inventory.

Cons

I wish there were a few more canned reports for service and dispatch. Financial reports require a lot of formatting and manipulation when exported to Excel to get them to look like something you would get out of QuickBooks, including having to manually add a $ Variance Column. It lacks a Cash Flows report.

Frustration, Lost of business, Promises not kept. $$$$ Expensive.

No benefits at all just a large expense and multitude of headaches.

Pros

Tracking customer accounts. Wow I don't have a 100 characters of Pros to say about Evosus, so I am just filling in the spaces.

Cons

Customer service. Credit card processing is only done by one company approved by Evosus and when there is an issue I am told it is the credit card company issue not Evosus. When upgrades are required Evosus use to do them as part of there monthly service fee, now I have to hire a computer tech at extra cost to do upgrades and if not done the system locks up. All in all I would not recommend this company to anyone. At this point financially I am so deep into Evosus that I do not know what I will do for the future.

Running a Business

I use Evosus daily. If it were not for this program keeping everything up-to-date and alerting when there are issues, our business would surely fail. Evosus keeps your customers, subcontractors, and employees all right in the same location to manage. There is nothing that they hadn't thought about: Payroll, AR, AP, Inventory, Sales Taxes, Bank Deposits, and the list goes on and on.

Pros

This program has everything from Accounts Payable to purchasing options for inventory. We are able to integrate with our supplier company and inventory basically runs itself!

Cons

The software is VAST! There is almost too much going on in the program to keep up. I believe with time, the software can be simplified to be a bit more user friendly.
