Like any large platform, the experience depends heavily on implementation quality and how well the partner understands both BC and the retail side. When that combination is right, it delivers; when it's not, the complexity shows. For Microsoft-aligned retailers, it remains one of the strongest options on the market. Cons: Performance in SaaS environments is the area that needs the most attention. Some of the heavier flows, like statement posting and large transaction batches, can be SQL-intensive and behave noticeably slower than on-prem, especially under load.
