- 3 stars: 103 reviews (8%)
- 2 stars: 38 reviews (3%)
- 1 star: 87 reviews (7%)

### Most mentioned pros

- The invoicing, contact management, and sales tracking capabilities are all housed in a single roof without the need to pay three different tools and this is something that I really liked after it was all set up and operational.
- The platform provides a comprehensive and centralized solution for managing different business operations, such as CRM, sales, inventory, accounting, HR, and project management, in one system
- Odoo has solved our diverse business needs including supply chain management, social media management and all procurement related processes.

### Most mentioned cons

- We contracted with Odoo to develop a custom ERP solution for our small business over a year ago, and the project remains unfinished to this day.
- There was no willingness to accommodate a reasonable request, and the communication quickly became focused on legal obligations instead of finding a customer-friendly solution.
- Dishonesty, lack of professionalism, false promises on deadlines, refused to give a hard target date on software development.

It's as bad as Albonomics in Australia, only worse. Fancy being charged a premium, to populate yoru subscription to use what you paid for Our fee went from $567/yr to over $5000 per year So then we had to delete all the work we paid for Was an experience that cost thousands in dollars and 6 months in time, for no outcome. Overall it was mid. I wanted to like it. I wanted to use it. I was and still am unsure the best way to operate whether setting it up on our own servers or running it on other servers from people running it as a third party service.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The product itself is amazing. It can do just about anything. There are plenty of features across all business elements to run your entire business off Odoo.

#### Cons

Very very clunky and requires a fair bit of manipulation to set it up how you want. You will need a true programmer to fix things to talk how you want them to talk. You will need a programmer to set it up to best run whatever field you are in. Most others are fairly easy to frame as you want with some basic tech knowledge. Odoo needs more.

#### Reasons for choosing Odoo

We didn't. We tried it as an option but elected not to migrate.

#### Reasons for switching to Odoo

Wanted to try other options. We did switch back to Zoho

### Odoo provides a flexible and customizable ERP platform for scaling business workflows

For over a year, Odoo gave us strong value for money and solid sales management. Its open-source flexibility simplified contact management and invoicing, despite slow customer support.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Modular architecture makes extending sales management and transaction management effortless. Contact management connects well, invoicing triggers cleanly, and value for money is strong.

#### Cons

Upgrading custom modules between major versions has a steep learning curve. Ease of use drops in complex accounting, customer support is slow, and invoicing rules take time to configure.

Not too positive after this sudden price hike, that really damaged our trust in the company severely.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 2/5
- Value for money: 2/5
- Customer support: 2/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

A versatile, ERP-like system that you can expand upon fairly easily. The UI is not intuitive, but with some effort you can learn to work with it.

#### Cons

their invoicing is very unclear: they suddenly more than doubled our monthly costs because a tiny part of our operation was in a more expensive country. Very unexpected and completely inflexible, we feel very misled in this case. This only surfaced months into our collaboration, when it's hard to pull back out.

### A Powerful and Flexible All-in-One Business Management Platform

Overall, my experience with Odoo has been positive. It is a powerful and flexible business management platform that can bring many different processes together in one place. The integration between modules is particularly useful and can significantly reduce manual work and improve visibility across the business. While the initial setup and learning curve can take some time, once properly configured, Odoo can become a very effective solution for managing day-to-day business operations.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

What I like most about Odoo is that it brings multiple business functions into one integrated platform. CRM, sales, invoicing, accounting, inventory, purchasing and other modules can all work together, which reduces the need for multiple separate systems and manual data entry. I also appreciate the flexibility and customization options, allowing the system to be adapted to different business processes as the company grows.

#### Cons

The main drawback is that Odoo can take some time to configure and learn, especially when using multiple modules or advanced features. Some workflows are not immediately intuitive, and customization can require technical knowledge. There can also be occasional performance issues or bugs, particularly with larger databases or more complex configurations. Customer support and pricing flexibility could also be improved.

### Easy to use for HR basics, but needs better consolidated reporting

It's worked well for the day-to-day HR basics — tracking leave and handling payslips — and the interface makes it easy to get around. The friction is really around reporting and consolidation rather than the core features themselves.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

The interface is clean and easy to use. We've mainly used Odoo as a leave tracker and for managing payslips, and it's been simple enough for both HR and employees to pick up without much training

#### Cons

The main pain point has been getting a consolidated view of things — there's no easy way to download all payslips together in one go, or to pull a quick summary of leave balances across the team. You end up doing it one by one, which adds up.

We switched from multiple systems to Odoo and consolidated everything. It works well for our needs. Setup was initially complicated but once it was running things improved. Not perfect but worth the investment if you're patient with the learning phase.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The dashboard is clean and easy to navigate. API integration with shipping carriers was seamless. Reporting features are good enough for day-to-day operations. Inventory tracking is solid.

#### Cons

I would say Learning curve is steep for non-technical users. Mobile app is basic. System slows down with large datasets which i have noticed might not be applicable for everyone.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

#### Pros

Odoo is very simple to set up, use and manage warehouse orders and inventory items at many different warehouse locations. The customer support is Amazing and always there to assist. Value compared to other platforms are cost effective which makes Odoo one of the go to platforms.

#### Cons

It was slightly complexed adding the inventory items to track into each warehouse location, which Odoo could simplify that process it will be one of the fastest systems to get started with.

#### Reasons for choosing Odoo

It was the best cost effective solution with the best customer service before seeing any platforms.

#### Reasons for switching to Odoo

To search for a better cost effective solution for smaller business operations. A system not complete and simple to set up.

#### Cons

#### Reasons for choosing Odoo

It has stopped the rest of the team from having to utilize hundreds of spreadsheets that I hate. The bank feed allows me to know what is going to happen by the end of the month instead of being caught off guard. I can access this system with my cell phone while sitting at the dentist office waiting. As we continue to expand into various countries and subsequently multiple currency accounts, odoo can manage them all. Since we transitioned away from quickbooks, the audit trail is much cleaner and the auditors can simply go through their process.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The reports give you current, live numbers, IF (AND WHEN) you ever get around to putting in the actual data. We were forced to hire someone to repair the api, however once done it will transfer transactions from another platform which is acceptable. The csv imports for 1099s and customer additions are faster than I thought they would be.

#### Cons

When viewing things at the top level, I dislike seeing where an invoice belongs to within an entity since you cannot tell while running a report. Also, the tools used for creating your own custom reports are completely frustrating.

What I liked most about Odoo is that everything is in one place, like CRM, accounting, ops… so you don’t switch tools all the time. It’s pretty easy to use, scales well, and you can customize it a lot, for a fair price too.

#### Cons

What I liked least about Odoo is that some features can feel a bit rough or not fully polished, and you sometimes need technical skills to customize things properly. Also, performance can slow down with many modules, and support isn’t always super responsive.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

Odoo's core strength lies in its fully integrated "Swiss Army knife" approach. Being able to start with a single module and activate others as the business grows is a true luxury. Information flows are automated to the extreme: a customer order instantly triggers an inventory update and prepares the corresponding invoice without any duplicate data entry.

#### Cons

### This platform is a scam and Customer Service are not useful at all

There was a lack of consistency with the communication between the staff members. They did not really want to assist to help you figure out what the problem was because I guess it’s a scam. They were disrespectful, passive aggressive. I no longer wanted to use their services which I really never used it because I was unable to access anything in their portal. They said that there was no problem with their portal, but clearly there was a problem if professional that is skilled in that field was unable to access it as well. All they’re trying to do is take the customers money without assisting them and then they’re trying to scam you to pay a lump sum amount for them still not to assist you. They said it wasn’t in their job description to assist you in learning their platform when I came to the person that is handling my account he kept saying I’m not gonna do it for you, but I wasn’t asking him to do anything for me. I was asking him to help me navigate the portal guide me, give me steps and I took all the steps that they gave me and their portal still wasn’t accessible. This company is not legit. This company does not care about their customers. They just care about getting the money and not assisting the customers and then having attitude when customer comes to them with an issue.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 1/5
- Value for money: 1/5
- Customer support: 1/5
- Functionality: 1/5

#### Pros

This company sold a good story, but could not fulfill what they were actually marketing

#### Cons

So this company tries to sell you a $3500 subscription for them to navigate you through the whole thing and they also sell a monthly subscription for $46 and some change. When I asked the person, [sensitive content hidden] that was in charge of my account to assist me in getting informed with the platform, he said that that is not in his job description, but prior to that he said if I needed any help navigating the system to contact him. So I called the customer support to see how they can support me and they told me that [sensitive content hidden] the person that is in charge of my account was supposed to assist me in navigating and then [sensitive content hidden] said that is not in his job description. So I also got a professional to see if they would be able to assist me outside of their company, and the professional was unable to access their program either the apps were not working you weren’t able to access them at all. They’re just there for show I was charged for a second month when I didn’t even access our program ever since they sent me the message saying that there was nothing wrong with it, but if I’m telling them, there’s something wrong with it, I’m not able to access there’s something wrong with their program. So I call back and I speak to the customer support and they said that they couldn’t assist me. They have to talk to another team member in order to assist me. Then I called back and just talked to another customer support and they basically told me that they have a fortune $5 million companies that are working with them and I simply said that does not matter to me. What matters to me is my experience is that I’m having with you and your platform, it is not accessible. so basically they didn’t take any accountability for anything. They basically was just saying oh sorry it didn’t work out for you, but everything seems good on our end which it’s not good on my end if I needed to access the portal for my business so pretty much they said I was not gonna be receiving any type of refund. The customer service was overall horrible. It sounds like they don’t know anything that they’re talking about and it pretty much is a scam. They don’t take any accountability and they don’t connect with the customers thoroughly. They deflect and make it seem like it’s the customer‘s fault that they can’t access the portal when it’s actually their portal that is not accessible.

Exciting, accessible and useful tool which collects a range of others in an easy way. I like how it allows growth in a manageable way.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Odoo is a brilliant concept for a software. It effortlessly combines a range of in-house and external softwares and tools for the running of your business, website and e-market or associated functions. It is easy to use and fun to bolt on extra tools

#### Cons

I think it requires and existing contextual knowledge of what makes it powerful. This may hinder from others adopting it, or whether a permanent and strong internet connection is reality for everyone all the time.
