### About PrimeRx

PrimeRx is a pharmacy management software designed to streamline pharmacy operations. The software supports dispensing and packaging workflows through compatibility with pharmacy automation systems such as Parata, ScriptPro, and RxSafe. Customer service and tech support are excellent with micro merchant. Our system downtime is minimal considering we have to run all our computers and software quite a long time on a daily basis.

Pros:

User friendly software and good tech support. All updates are being done remotely. They also send out details about your update via email and you can easily learn about those updates once you login.

Cons:

Some glitches after updates and system will crash multiple times during the day. Prices on extra services can be expensive like Rx scanning and signature capture on delivery

Cons:

feature requests are not prioritized, ability to vote for upgrades to have a say in what features all the pharmacies would like. explanations of issues takes longer than expected.

Pros:

good system, easy to use, decent customer service and can get tech support very fast compare to some other systems

Cons:

Drug file is all messed up and no one at Primerx cares, They have no understanding that XR or ER drugs are different from regular medication. Most generics do not link with brands. Generic drugs are linked wrongly with Brand names.

My experience with PrimerX has been decent overall. The software offers a solid range of features that meet many of my needs, particularly in terms of functionality and integration with other tools. The user interface is intuitive, making it relatively easy to navigate. However, I've faced some challenges with customer support, as response times can be slow during peak hours. Additionally, some updates have introduced minor bugs that took time to resolve. Overall, while there are areas for improvement, PrimeRX has provided a satisfactory solution for my software needs.

The ability to copy and paste things. I also like the text feature.

Cons:

It freezes up a lot. This may be due to the high demand in places on the CPU.

Cerner Retail Pharmacy management was no longer going to be supported by Cerner.

I can't think of anything positive to say about PrimeRx.

Cons:

The IT help is just awful. Very few of the technicians you will speak with will be easy to understand.

Wish I can start over somewhere else

Where can I start? It’s never ending story. Many negative experiences to mention over 4 years. Wish it was easier to switch the software. On more than one occasion agents have logged in without consent screen come up on the screen, and when there weren’t any problems or issues that needed to be worked on. You just go into the Phamracy and find out someone went Through your computer because the screen name was still there. How is that ethical? Agents keep themselves connected. Settings and things that used to work fine will be all changed and messed up so it always always always takes so many efforts ans frustration to go in circles to get anything fixed in one go. Then the agent don’t feel like it’s important to let us know what all was changed. Ridiculous!
