Game Changer

When I had to close my doors (of the bricks and mortar shop) due to the pandemic, it was clear that I need to quickly pivot online in order to survive. The team reached out to me, and got me set up with an account and the software within a week. I was able to work directly with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] to set my Shopify store up exactly as I wanted, and they made thoughtful suggestions on how I could improve it as well. They handled all of the integration, and before I knew it I was rocking and rolling on my own and navigating the software like an expert myself!! The payout process was so simple, and my consignors loved being able to check in on the status of their items. Using this software has saved me so much time and frustration, I am so thankful I found it!

PROS

This was by far the best decision I made for my business, and I only wish I had found it earlier! I love the seamless integration (seamless for me, their team worked their tails off to make it so), the payout features, the way the system was easy to navigate, the consignor and product management pages, the list goes on. There is nothing these folks haven't thought of to make the lives of consignment stores easier so we can get back to the business of selling!

CONS

The only challenge I had was it was a little bit tricky trying to integrate some of the features to work for me as I am based in Canada. But this was expertly and thoroughly resolved by the IT team and they were able to walk me though every step!

So simple and easy to use with amazing service and follow up

Of all the software available in this industry this is the easiest to use, its highly customize-able and the customer service and tech team really cares and checks in on us which I appreciate. They are happy to hear from us when we call in unlike our previous software company which took days to get back to us when we had a problem.

PROS

Item entry is nearly error free now that we switched to this from another service. My people can get the right information in the right fields on the first try which has improved productivity

CONS

Its not really about the software, but changing programs is always difficult. I will say the Resale Global service team made everything easy for me and my team and the one on one training they provided was excellent.

The item entry and smart interface on Resale Global are unlike any of the other options out there and so much easier to train people on.

Reasons for switching to Aravenda Consignment Software

Price for value and we had so many issues with service. When we would call in the technical team was often condescending to myself and my employees. The patched together nature of the confusing interfaces and work arounds got too complicated to train and manage with my team. In addition, I was privy to receiving some forwards on internal emails that were being sent about my team which were so derogatory in tone and lack of respect or appreciation for their customers, it just reiterated what we were experiencing for years and we got tired of it.

Aravenda Consignment Software is still a BETA product as of Dec. 2022.

The support staff has done their best, software is still in BETA stage of development.

PROS

The menu design gets 4 stars - most of the menus are easy to use.

CONS

Data upload was difficult. We had about 17k products to integrate and we were sold on the fact that it could be done quickly and accurately. This was not the case, most of our store owned items are not correct in that they are trying to "pay" 50%... This makes the sales reports inaccurate. I am writing a local program to download all of the inventory each week so that I can get an accurate financial report. It has taken 2 months to get our data uploaded and fixed... I still have 3 pages of customer information to correct that did not get transferred correctly. We were also sold on the idea that our consignors could easily get paid via PayPal on demand. As it turns out, we need to issue "gift cards" to our consignors for them to collect their earnings via PayPal. We have not started this process as of yet as we are very concerned that it is going to be time consuming.

We were sold on the fact that we could use our current tags that were on our inventory, that we would not need to close our store to migrate the data, and that the Aravenda was flexible enough to handle our 17k products. We also liked the way we were told the consignment tracking and payout worked.

Reasons for switching to Aravenda Consignment Software

Our inhouse program was a local program only. We wanted to start selling items online and rather than converting our program, Aravenda seemed like a viable solution.

So glad I cleaned out my closets

A+ all the way around. I’ve worked with a lot of software in my time and I’ve never had a team that cares more about their customers and the customer success than this one.

PROS

I did a little bit of research after losing a lot of weight and wanted to sell a large group of professional clothing that I had accumulated but I liked best about Resale Global is that the TechTeam set up my Shopify website I didn’t have to do anything except approve photos and provide a little bit of background they had it all set up within a couple of days and I was up and running within a week

CONS

There’s nothing that I don’t like really about this. sometimes my Internet connection goes in and out but that’s not a problem for the software that’s my Internet connection

Didn’t get a call back from Liberty in the timeframe I was working with. The Resale Global team provided me a few references for their work and I spoke to them and that was all I needed to move forward.

Taking my business to the level

The folks running the operations are amazing. Very knowledgeable with the product and understand what the layperson is trying to describe. communication with I.T. is quick and responsive.

PROS

ReSale Global software has allowed me to take my brick and mortar business to the internet without having to wonder how I was going to accomplish that goal.

CONS

Personal communication for one. the 7 years that I've used ConsignPro no one has ever reached out to me to ask how everything is going? When I do call ConsignPro it's always a very sterile conversation. With ReSale Global I like the zoom meeting that are scheduled on my time frame and I can talk to I.T. even after hours.

We are so glad we chose Aravenda for our consignment store

Consignors love being able to see their products online to see if anything sold and how much credit or money they'll be receiving - I'd say this is one of the biggest differentiators we have from other consignment stores.

PROS

We were a new business looking for the easiest way to run our consignment store. Thank god we came across Aravenda as we tried a few other Shopify apps and they were nowhere near the functionality Aravenda provides. From product entry to printing barcodes, the process takes less than a minute per item which is essential in running a business.

CONS

Setting up the barcodes on our Mac was probably the most challenging part but [sensitive content hidden] were super responsive and hopped on meetings whenever I needed help. The only thing I'd say is when a product is returned sometimes it won't add back into the system and we have to restock that item manually. Another issue we came across is if you have the email capitalized in Aravenda when it transfers over to Shopify the email doesn't match because it assumes it's lowercase. We found the note wasn't showing up properly for the customer's store credit so we manually went back and changed all the emails so they didn't have capitals.

MAKES EVERYTHING SO EASY

They are great! They are always there when ever I need help. I can give them a call and they always help.

PROS

I love how everything I need to do; pay consignors, post new items, get new inventory is all right there. It makes my life so much easier to know that it is all in one place.

CONS

The integration was a little difficult but some of those issues are gone now!

Customer Service is Key

It was challenging at times to learn this software but we received such great customer service we were able to learn the system. Aravenda was always patient with our process and responsive to our questions and concerns.

PROS

I appreciate the ordered way in which products are listed in this software. The barcodes are easy to create and print.

CONS

The way the software interacts with the printers, we use Zebra, is difficult but I think that is a function of the Zebra product rather than Aravenda.

Great product, amazing service

PROS

Aravenda is a critical tool for getting our consignment program off the ground, and our shop in general. It made tracking payouts a breeze, and best of all the customer service was seriously unmatched compared to any other SaaS I've used before. The team always responded very quickly and was more than happy to take a call when needed. Even better, they took feature requests, updates, and fixes to heart and often had them in done right away.Nothing but the best to say about the team at Aravenda.

CONS

The interface could use some modernization and a few more bulk editing tools, but the team is constantly improving features.

Easy to Navigate & Excellent Customer Service!

I have had a very positive experience with Aravenda and its staff. The software is easy to navigate, and the staff is very responsive to questions.

PROS

I like that the interface is very simple to navigate, even for those of us who are not technologically inclined. When I have a question about the software, [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is quick to respond and doesn't make me feel dumb for my lack of technology knowledge.

CONS

One feature I believe is missing is the ability to upload more than one picture at a time. That being said, it is such a minor inconvenience that it works fine without that feature. I would also like to be able to print labels using my Mac.

Thanks for your note here! Remember you can add photos as you go if you enter items on your mobile phone using the browser based technology. Its full access same as on the keyboard so you don't have to save and upload photos - they will store as you take them. Best consignment software you’ll find

I own a Consignment Boutique in Fonthill, I struggled for months trying to find the right software that would work for my business. Then I found Aravenda and it has made running a business and the consignment end a breeze. Being able to have consignors log into a portal and check up on there account saves me time. Knowing where my business is standing for what I owe consignors helps me in so many ways, I highly recommend Aravenda ,the staff at Aravenda are extremely helpful they helped with getting everything set up and going!

Excellent Software and even Better Support

The software has solved all our needs. It's really user friendly and straight forward, pretty much all the 'essentials' for running our business are solved with this software. It's a software that's easy to use and understand.

CONS

Initially, the system had a few features we felt were missing. However, as of today, these features have been implemented into the system and all our requirements have been met. There are a few errors that come up with the Shopify/Resale Global integration however the team does constantly work to try and resolve issues that come up.

Best Inventory Management Software

The customer service I have received has been stellar. Every time I've had a question it has been answered quickly and without judgment. They are great with video calls, phone calls, and emails. I have never felt rushed, and they always make sure you understand everything before they let you go.I definitely recommend Aravenda. If you're still on the fence, ask them about their trial, you'll be happy you did!

PROS

I started out by testing this consignment software along with a few others. I loved how easy it was to understand and it had so many more features than its competitors. Features such as setting your brand colours, inventory aging, disbursement ratios, surcharges and more. It easily links with Shopify, and I can sell in-store too. I do most of the work on my computer, but I love how I can also access the app on my phone!

CONS

Minor: I don't like how you have to push "close" on a pop-up after saving.

Best Software For Inventory Management

Aravenda Consignment Software is Complete Solution for Inventory Management as they provides many powerful features to manage our sales reports. They provides excellent customer support to solve any query. Highly Recommended to all businesses who works on inventory management.

First Time Consignment Store Operator - Recommend

PROS

First time entrant into the consignment industry and we have found Resale Global to be the perfect product for us. The software is very intuitive and with minimal help from their support team we were able to achieve an online presence. Strong back office capabilities makes dealing with consignors and purchasing customers a painless process. Even though we had minimal interactions, the support team has been incredible.

CONS

We have been up and running for over a month and have not had any issues at this point.
