SalesVu is a cloud-based business management and Point of Sale solution that caters to small and midsize businesses. Key features include an iPad and iPhone based POS setup, eCommerce platform, inventory and vendor management dashboard, cloud-based accounting and sales analytics, employee scheduler and labor reports, customer relationship management, reservations management, email and social marketing automation and more.

SalesVu allows employers and business owners to track employee hours and individual sales remotely via various mobile devices.

SalesVu's Customer Relationship Management(CRM) capabilities help users gather data about customers, including their likes and dislikes, what they purchased, and how often they come into the store. The solution enables users to view, edit, and export customized financial documents, view high-level business performance and track company goals all in real-time.

Users can utilize their eCommerce websites which help customers manage their orders. These sales orders and details automatically get stored in the solution.

Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone and email.

    I like the reporting and it's easy to research data.

    I just like that it's really easy to use, my client hasn't expressed any concerns, and when they bring on new staff they never seem to have problems learning the process.

    Pros

    Reports work well and it's easy to "dig deeper" for information when data is questionable. Product are easy to set up and you can use modifiers (i.e. sizes and colors) for inventory tracking. My client is in an area with various sales tax rates and SalesVu handles them beautifully.
    Customer support is responsive although I seldom need them.

    Cons

    I have to manually input data to QuickBooks desktop but there is a sync option that we don't use. I'm hoping this client will switch to QuickBooks Desktop in hopes we can use the sync. I don't really have any problems with this software.

    Overall this product is useful.

    Pros

    This software was simple enough to use. Integrated well with our Quickbooks. The value for the money is good.

    Cons

    Sometimes the customer service line has you on hold for too long and the cancellation fee is pretty high if you ever wanted or needed to cancel.

    Customer service is excellent and helpful.

    Cons

    System sometimes lags but not frequently enough to be a major issue. Otherwise software is flawless most of the time

    The simplicity of the app and the availability of the reporting online are the most important factors for us as a company. The app is easy to use for our employees.

    Cons

    It would be nice to have the ability to add a new customer from the App itself when placing a new order.

    Any time I have had an issue and send in a request for help, the response is quick and very helpful.

    Cons

    I would like to have better report options for booking into our accounting software but there have been improvements made in this area and I hope to see more!

    No monthly expense and easy to use the back office system and user interface is easy to use.

    Cons

    Sometimes the system is a little slow and we have had some complications with the card reader, but they have been helpful in solving it.

    It is cloud base product so we can log in the store or at home and can link up many devices if want to. This vendor is young and with a lot of energy and trying to catch up demands from their customers.

    Cons

    S/W will hang easily, new customer entry is too much steps, receipt print out does not have the capability to do marketing. this product is only able to work on 2 transaction companies which they may need to consider to expend it more so that user can pick the best credit card processing company. reports which need to give customer capability to modify to get customer report on each screen.

    This product has been functionally great for my store in many ways, such as, printable reports, inventory and cash register system, all in one.

    Cons

    The system does not offer a free Gift Card system or a Return Merchandise System, but I have found ways to work around it.
