  • Pros

  • The EMA system is intuitive, the analytics are pretty robust and the PM system is easy to learn.
  • The best EMR for Dermatology on the market (we’ve had three). Fully integrated PM, Path and clinical in one system.
  • Cons

  • Lastly, even if you want to get out of this portion of the contract, ModMed will not let you. You are forced to pay for it for the full 3 year opt in time even if you no longer use it.
  • Also, the patient reminder system ( Relatient) is awful. It does not connect in real time to the practice schedule and requires extra work to find out if a patient has cancelled an appointment.

  • The integration with Salesforce is the main reason we have this product- it integrates better than other softwares we saw with opportunities and contracts.
  • I liked the functionality of this software. The customer service was very good and they put on webinars for frequent updates.
  • Cons

  • It's user friendly to a fault. It's very easy to make costly mistakes because of a lack of fail-safes.
  • It is very difficult to rectify the error as this software makes difficult to go back and change the numbers.
