Fantastic Controls Management with Opportunity to Improve Hypersyncs

The implementation team, account managers, and customer service reps are fantastic. The software has made my team a lot more efficient and productive. Audits are easy to run out of the software and see status in real-time. The automated recurring tasks have been fantastic for reminding control owners of their responsibilities.

Controls management Great customer service Lots of options for prebuilt connectors Ability to run automated tests on evidence Ability to integrate with other team's workflows through Jira or Servicenow tickets for tasks Automated recurring tasks Audits module Bulk imports Ability to use scopes to break down a control into different entity controls Easy to use and learn

Cons:

Service accounts used in hypersyncs have overly permissive access in source system when it's not needed Had quite a few errors when setting up hypersyncs that needed to be resolved by engineering team Would like ability to filter on reports brought in as proof (or option to make csv / excel format) Ability to compare 2 pieces of proof for automated control testing (e.g. comparing a terminated employee list to a user access list to confirm no terminated users appear)

Mainly due to the scopes feature. Also liked the layout of the modules better and how they link controls throughout

Reasons for switching to Hyperproof

Not user friendly, required manual updates in multiple places, auditors could see controls monitoring and issues, not easy to set up bots or connections

Automation capability is the quality which I like the most. It automates the repetitive tast and save my time

As such I don't have any complaint about the application I like almost everything. But many people that it should be improved.

A great platform for GRC consulting work

I've found Hyperproof to have a fast learning curve, which is great for customers I consult with that may only need it for our short project. The tool will benefit greatly for consultants by adding AI chatbots that can assist with locating and reviewing Proof (evidence).

Pros:

Hyperproof offers a smooth experience with users being able to accomplish tasks with less navigational clicking. Custom fields and UI customization make the tool work for my unique engagements with customers.

Cons:

I feel like there are some confusing components to the experience. For example, importing Controls to a Program requires a different .csv template compared to importing Controls outside of the Program (in the main production instance).

Reasons for choosing Hyperproof

This was not my decision; however, it was based on a combination of price, easy learning curve for new customers, and seamless UI.

The interface and usability. Everything is where you would expect it to be. Additionally, I like the documentation previews that you get. This makes reconciling a lot easier and reduces the number of unnecessary downloads.

Cons:

I wish there was a function to mass update things (for example, the status of requests). This would reduce the need for repetitive tasks.

Excellent GRC Tool that comes with superb Customer Support

Great tool and overall would recommend as an option to look at and consider for your GRC needs if automation and help with having a common controls framework is part of your needs.

Pros:

Upside of using Hyperproof is an all in one tool to track your Risks, Issues, Controls for various Compliance programs and regulatory requirements. It has been helpful to have everything and everyone in one tool. Security settings allow you to set up external auditors and control owners differently from the access the compliance team has. This tool has been great for managing all the various audits that I manage as well as managing company risks via the risk module. New AI features and other items are making Hyperproof top pick in the market. Also, Hyperproof has great control automation features to help make evidence collection more streamlined and less manual.

Cons:

One challenge I’ve encountered is the limited functionality in Dashboards and Analytics, this would be very helpful to have an executive reporting view in the tool that i can pull out for board presentations. However, I’m confident that Hyperproof will address this areas for their clients in the near future.

HyperProof - Leading GRC Tool for Compliance and Risk Assessments enabling Cross-Department Collaboration

In overall, I'm happy that the Information Security team procured this GRC tool. HyperProof allows collaboration with different departments without needing to use communication tools.

I like how HyperProof easily integrates with Microsoft and Azure. It allows me to easily submit evidences for compliance and risk assessments. It still has room for improvement but they continuously add integration features and I'm looking forward to having all integrations/automations that I need become available.

Cons:

I always experience lags/delays when interacting with buttons. Also, some modules need some learning curve especially with linking third-party storages such as SharePoint.

Cons:

Honestly, there is nothing I do not like about Hyperproof. It is an amazing program. If I had to say something, though, I suppose I would like to see a dark mode.

Absolutely love the programs that can be imported. Each programs has the required controls that make answering to audit and breeze.

Cons:

Getting updates that would enhance to product on an individual basis can be a little tough to get approved.

My overall experience with hyperproof has been pretty good since there were no bugs or technical issues I faced. It was also a little easy to understand on how to use it.

Easier to organize evidence and download them in one go. I believe the security is great since there are no data leakage issues with it. Its value for money. Helps solve the compliance part by storing the evidence securely.

Cons:

Sometimes it is hard to find where the evidence is uploaded. There is also a learning curve for understanding how to properly use it.
