### Fantastic Controls Management with Opportunity to Improve Hypersyncs

The implementation team, account managers, and customer service reps are fantastic. The software has made my team a lot more efficient and productive. Audits are easy to run out of the software and see status in real-time. The automated recurring tasks have been fantastic for reminding control owners of their responsibilities.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Controls management Great customer service Lots of options for prebuilt connectors Ability to run automated tests on evidence Ability to integrate with other team's workflows through Jira or Servicenow tickets for tasks Automated recurring tasks Audits module Bulk imports Ability to use scopes to break down a control into different entity controls Easy to use and learn

#### Cons

Service accounts used in hypersyncs have overly permissive access in source system when it's not needed Had quite a few errors when setting up hypersyncs that needed to be resolved by engineering team Would like ability to filter on reports brought in as proof (or option to make csv / excel format) Ability to compare 2 pieces of proof for automated control testing (e.g. comparing a terminated employee list to a user access list to confirm no terminated users appear)

#### Reasons for choosing Hyperproof

Mainly due to the scopes feature. Also liked the layout of the modules better and how they link controls throughout

#### Reasons for switching to Hyperproof

Not user friendly, required manual updates in multiple places, auditors could see controls monitoring and issues, not easy to set up bots or connections

### Keeps compliance work organized and saves time

Using Hyperproof has been a good experiance overall. It's one of those tools that becomes more useful the longer you use it because everything stays organized in the same place. It helped reduce a lot of back-and-forth during compliance work, although getting everything configured initially took some patience. Once that was done, managing ongoing audits became much less stressful

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

The biggest advantage for me was having all compliance related work in one place instead of managing everything through spreadsheets and emails. Assigning tasks, collecting evidence, and keeping track of audit progress felt much more organized. The dashboard gives a clear picture of whats pending so it's easier to stay prepared instead of rushing before an audit

#### Cons

It definitely isn't the kind of software you can jump into and master in a day. Some menus took me a while to figure out, and there were features that weren't obvious without looking through the documentation. I also wish some reports were easier to customize without extra effort.

### A great platform for GRC consulting work

- Overall rating: 4/5
- Reviewer: Ben P.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Information Technology and Services
- Company size: 51-200 employees
- Product usage: Used daily for less than 2 years
- Reviewed: December 2025
- Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you.

I've found Hyperproof to have a fast learning curve, which is great for customers I consult with that may only need it for our short project. The tool will benefit greatly for consultants by adding AI chatbots that can assist with locating and reviewing Proof (evidence).

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

Hyperproof offers a smooth experience with users being able to accomplish tasks with less navigational clicking. Custom fields and UI customization make the tool work for my unique engagements with customers.

#### Cons

I feel like there are some confusing components to the experience. For example, importing Controls to a Program requires a different .csv template compared to importing Controls outside of the Program (in the main production instance).

#### Reasons for choosing Hyperproof

This was not my decision; however, it was based on a combination of price, easy learning curve for new customers, and seamless UI.

### Hyperproof, great partners and better tool

- Overall rating: 4/5

We love Hyperproof. The tool is easy to use implement and user friendly along the way. The support staff at Hyperproof is amazing and go way above and beyond to make your experience valuable. The team also takes feedback very seriously and we have seen suggestions for improvement actually be implemented.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I love how easy it is to import data from external sources as well as the Kanban functionality that allows you to easily visualize and understand where your team is in the audit process.

#### Cons

It is a small con but I wish Hyperproof stuck with industry standard terminology in the tool. It is hard to map industry accepted terms with their terms. For example evidence vs. proof. Both mean the same but industry standard is evidence. This can cause problems when working with 3rd parties.

#### Reasons for choosing Hyperproof

Cost was a big driver in our decision, but ultimately the partnership with their team sold us.

Overall, my experience has been very positive. It has made managing GRC activities more organized and efficient by centralizing controls, evidence, and audit workflows in one place.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Hyperproof provides strong value by centralizing GRC activities into a single, easy to use platform. It simplifies evidence collection with Hypersync. The interface is intuitive, making setup and day to day use straightforward without a steep learning curve.

#### Cons

While they're strong overall, there are areas that could be improved. Some features can feel a bit rigid, making it harder to customize workflows exactly to our needs. Reporting, while useful, could offer more flexibility and deeper customization for more tailored insights.

#### Reasons for choosing Hyperproof

stood out for features like automated evidence collection and real time visibility into controls

Hyperproof implementation was top notch! Weekly calls, availability and response time to answer questions, help with integrations, all have been amazing. Several months in and the tool is functioning great, as intended.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The ability to automate evidence collection once, then use it repeatedly, across multiple types of audits.

#### Cons

Would like to see Survey functionality, different than Assessments. Although we are using assessments to get the job done, there is some added functionality that would be nice to have.

#### Reasons for switching to Hyperproof

Needed more automation and multi audit functionality and management

Smooth. The organization had multiple resources for questions or product enhancements that are used frequently.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

The interface and usability. Everything is where you would expect it to be. Additionally, I like the documentation previews that you get. This makes reconciling a lot easier and reduces the number of unnecessary downloads.

#### Cons

I wish there was a function to mass update things (for example, the status of requests). This would reduce the need for repetitive tasks.

#### Reasons for switching to Hyperproof

Convene was operating too slowly for us to deliver work.

### One of the best GRC products you'll find with a roadmap to keep on improving.

- Overall rating: 5/5
- Reviewer: Richard E.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Marketing and Advertising
- Company size: 1001-5000 employees
- Product usage: Used daily for less than 6 months

I've had a positive experience. There's been issues to iron out in the implementation but they've not been core issues. Setup was really quick and we were rolling in a matter of minutes. I believe in their roadmap and delivering incremental updates makes me believe in the product and know they'll keep improving

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I like the simplicity of what is essentially a complex world of GRC. The benefit of managing multiple frameworks only becomes apparent once you've spun up one framework and you can see how easy it is to manage multiple without duplicating effort.

#### Cons

The supplier and vendor management module needs some love to make it truly useful on an enterprise scale. The risk management module should focus on financial risk calculations but it's not impossible with the current iteration.

#### Reasons for choosing Hyperproof

Simpler to use and previous experience of these tools meant they weren't the right fit for our business

#### Reasons for switching to Hyperproof

Price initially and then capability came later. The product does more, the roadmap is clear.

#### Pros

Easy to use. Jumpstart and control linking make managing multiple frameworks a breeze. Third-party Vendor Questionnaire system is great.

#### Cons

Integrations for automated proof collection are a little lacking for our current needs

#### Reasons for choosing Hyperproof

For a small team setting up a risk management program for the first time it was the best choice due to its ease of use.

### A Compliance Operations platform that scales with ease

My overall experience with Hyperproof has been great. The product is very easy to use. The UI design is intuitive. Best of all is their customer support team, they really go out of their way for their customers.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like most about Hyperproof is that we are able to add new security standards/frameworks to our ever expanding scope and utilize the Jumpstart feature to instantly map our existing proof to satisfy those new requirements. Adding additional standards/frameworks has never been easier.

#### Cons

Where Hyperproof fell short in relation to its competitors is in the area of initial cloud integrations. Since the product prides itself on automating evidence collection, I expected more SaaS integrations for automation purposes. However, over the last year, I have seen vast improvements in this area.

#### Reasons for choosing Hyperproof

Jira integration was a top priority for us. We needed a product that could be integrated with both Jira Cloud and Jira Datacenter simultaneously. We wanted to ensure that when collecting evidence from product teams, we did not alter their workflows.

Overall, despite the loss of analytics mentioned above, the experience with Hyperproof has been extremely positive. The system is well designed, their people are helpful and responsive, and we were able to vastly improve our external audit capabilities in a surprisingly short timeframe.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

When compared to other systems, Hyperproof is feature rich and user friendly. But the company really shines through their people. From Contracts to Implementation and Support, their people are some of the best you will work with.

#### Cons

I did not like that analytics was one of the key must-haves when we were in discussions for selecting them as our solution and then after we had signed and completed onboarding, they removed their analytics module in favor of providing integrations to external BI platforms. I understand that their sales team may not have been aware that this was looming, but it has created a real headache for us because we were looking for robust native reporting.

#### Reasons for choosing Hyperproof

We performed a thorough review of both objective and subjective measures (e.g. cost, ROI, feature set, user experience, etc.). After ranking ten products from seven vendors, Hyperproof was in first place, offering the most value by both sets of measures.

#### Reasons for switching to Hyperproof

KnowBe4 discontinued their KCM (GRC) product completely, forcing us to select a new vendor.

#### Cons

I don't have a ton of cons. I did find the learning curve to be a tiny bit steep and sometimes it seemed more complex than I needed but I figure that is because my role is small in the overall project. This was not a major issue.
