Sas Risk Managent si è, con facilità, adattato all'architettura IT pre-esistente e questo gli ha concesso di utilizzare in input, per le sue valutazioni, tutte le informazioni già presenti in azienda. Utili nelle valutazioni sono stati gli studi effettuati su scenari diversi ed i report estraibili per la condivisioni con gli stakeholder.

Sas Risk Management mediante l'uso di strumenti quantitativi e qualitativi permette la valutazione ed il monitoraggio dei rischi aziendali. Un corretta valutazione è la base per prendere efficienti decisioni sulle azioni di mitigazione da intraprendere. In particolare Sas Rosà Management è in grado di valutare la probabilità di accadimento di un evento negativo e stimare il suo impatto sulle operazioni aziendali. Gli strumenti di modellazione del software consentono di testare scenari ipotetici, valutando come questi impattano su probabilità ed impatto sull'operatività aziendali. I vari strumenti di analisi permettono una conoscenza completa dei rischi ed una valutazione dell'efficacia delle azioni di mitigazione intraprese in vari contesti. Tutte le analisi condotte posso essere sintetizzate in reporf personalizzabili di facile condivisione.

Cons:

Al fine di rendere maggiormente efficiente Sas Risk Mangement potrebbe essere interessante dotarlo di algoritmi di artificial intelligence per valutare il rischio e le azioni di rimedio. Interessante, inoltre, potrebbe essere una sezione specifica dedicata alla gestione dei rischi informatici ed alla protezioni dei dati.

SAS Risk Management è utile per monitorare e valutare varie tipologie di rischi aziendali: rischio di conformità, di credito, di tasso, etc. Il programma elabora in input informazioni provenienti da varie fonti dati e permette di riorganizzarle su una Dashboard personalizzabili, al fine di poter valutare in modo dettagliato ogni tipologia di rischio. I dati raccolti possono essere utilizzati per effettuare analisi avanzate, quali analisi di stress test, per comprendere in modo più completo l’impatto dei rischi suo portafoglio dell’azienda. Il programma permette di impostare un sistema di monitoraggio con avvisi in tempo reale, in modo tale da effettuare interventi tempestivi ed efficienti qualora si dovessero verificare situazioni di stress

Il programma non risulta rapito nell’eseguire le analisi richieste. E per operazioni più sofisticate richiede l’integrazione con altri programmi della galassia SAS

SAS Risk Management si è rivelato, nel corso della mia carriera lavorativa presso una grande distributore di energia, un ottimo alleato nella definizione dei rischi aziendali, nella loro valutazione e nel prendere le corrette azioni di mitigazione e controllo. Il software, infatti, permette di avere una visione olistica dei rischi aziendali e di dividerli per categorie di interesse: linee di business, regione, tipologia di rischio. Tale clusterizzazione è fondamentale quando, facendo parte di una holding, è necessario valutare i rischi di ogni controllata sia singolarmente sia in una visione di insieme.

Un uso corretto del software richiede la presenza di un utente esperto che sappia interpretare i dati. La macchina, da sola, non è in grado di valutare il reale impatto di un rischio sul core business aziendale.

The software is fit for management of market, credit and operational risks. It includes all the standart variaty of functions, such as VaR, Credit Scoring, Credit Loss, risk aggregation. But also I like a benchmarking function for stress testing of risk situation or risk object. This software is good not only for financial organizations like banking and insurance but also for non-financial enterprises. Another advantage is a powerful platform of SaS which allows to work at big data rapidly. The company offers free demos and trainings.

Cons:

It is an expensive product. But on another hand it is updated free. I would devide the software into two versions: for financial and for non-financial enterprises.
