Made Getting SOC 2 Type I a breeze. Easily saved hundreds of hours

Secureframe helped us secure our SOC 2 Type 1 incredibly quickly, which was instrumental to helping us unblock some of our enterprise opportunities and move along deals. Plus, it also helped our company start taking security more seriously as we continue to grow and scale.

Pros:
Secureframe’s platform made getting our SOC 2 super easy and easily helped us save hundreds of hours of time and engineering resources. The software helped streamline the evidence collection process, vendor management, policy creation, and even security awareness training. It literally did almost everything we needed to get SOC 2 compliant. I was impressed with the breath of integrations. They helped save a lot of time with pulling in evidence from our existing vendors. Finally, the support is really top notch. Anything we had a question, we got a response within 24 hours, sometimes within just hours. We always felt like Secureframe was there for us.
Cons:
Reality is, you still have to read over the policies and make sure you’re setting up the integrations properly. But, I felt like Secureframe’s team was there to help us with any questions we had and get us moving through the process quickly.

Pros:
The platform and support have been excellent. It's easy to navigate and when we don't understand the process we have strong resources to help us make solid decisions.
Cons:
The platform is great, but still a steep learning curve for non technical roles. The AI questionnaire tool is still in development, but that will be a strong feature once it's fully functioning.

Reasons for choosing Secureframe

We had a great sales process, we felt confident with the advisor and the recommendations for the best solution.

We use Secureframe to manage complex controls in our tech stack and prevent terminated employees from accessing systems. It automates tests and integrates with our system, ensuring SOC 2 compliance, saves us time, and gives us confidence in adhering to security policies.

Pros:
I really appreciate the automated tests that run daily and the system integrations. I like knowing that the system is constantly monitoring things, so I don't have to worry about it. The integrations save us from spending human hours digging into our code to ensure we're building our infrastructure securely and in a repeatable manner. The automated tests also give me confidence that we are adhering to our company policies and security best practices. Additionally, it was very easy to set up and configure Secureframe, with nice checklists and very helpful documentation available online whenever we had questions.
Cons:
I think there could be better, more granular notification settings and the ability to integrate notifications about test failures into Slack.

Pros:
The friendly support staff answered every question I had about the process or what needed to be documented in relation to the SOC2 certification I was looking to achieve. The many integrations removed a lot of work I would need to do in order to verify my cloud environment along with my other venders. They broke down the process into many steps allowing me to do a bit at a time and eventually get audited.
Cons:
Like i said in the pros section, I enjoyed how they broken down the process into many different steps. Some of those steps were vague and i needed to contact Secureframes support to learn what I needed to do in order to complete the task. Like I said the support staff were great but I think the examples or explanations could have been better so I would not need to chat / email / call the support in the first place.

Reasons for choosing Secureframe

I have a friend who started using Secureframe in relation to his startup and enjoyed the service which is the main reason I chose secureframe

Pros:
We reviewed a few alternatives to SecureFrame for our SOC2 compliance, and they were either buggy, or had very pushy sales people. SecureFrame staff has been very helpful and proactive, and the price has been good. The UI has been super easy to navigate given the complexity of the software.
Cons:
Sign in with Google is an upsell. Would have been nice to see this included.

Reasons for choosing Secureframe

Price and experience with sales people was very positive.

Reasons for switching to Secureframe

Trustcloud was buggy and didn't have good UX.

Safe and secure

Honestly, Secureframe made something that usually feels overwhelming — compliance — way more approachable. At first, I was a bit skeptical about how much it could actually automate, but it really delivered. The platform helped us stay organized, track our progress clearly, and pull in evidence without a ton of manual effort. It wasn’t totally plug-and-play — we did have to adjust a few things to fit how our team works — but once we got into the flow, it saved us a ton of time and stress. What stood out most was the support. Anytime we hit a roadblock or had questions, their team was super responsive and helpful. It felt more like working with a partner than just using a tool. Overall, it’s been a really solid experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to other teams looking to get (and stay) compliant without losing their minds in the process.

Pros:
Secureframe really stood out in terms of ease of use — the interface is clean, intuitive, and well-organized, even for teams that aren't deeply technical. The value for money was clear from the start, especially considering how much time and stress it saved us during our compliance journey. Their customer support was also top-notch; they were responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely felt like an extension of our team. From a risk management perspective, the automated alerts and continuous monitoring helped us proactively identify issues before they became problems. The ability to streamline supplier and vendor management in one place was a huge bonus, especially when collecting documentation or assessing third-party risks. Lastly, the form creation tools — while not overly complex — were flexible enough for our team's needs and kept everything centralized and audit-ready.
Cons:
While Secureframe covers a lot of ground, there were some areas where it felt slightly rigid — especially when trying to customize workflows beyond the standard use cases. A few of the form creation features could use more flexibility or deeper customization. Also, some integrations for supplier and vendor management required a bit of manual follow-up, which slowed things down.

Easy SOC 2 Compliance for Infrequent Users

Pros:
As an HR Rep, I've primarily used SecureFrame for our SOC 2 Compliance data. So far, the platform has been remarkably user-friendly. Creating folders and adding necessary documentation - like screenshots and reports - is easy and provides an excellent way to keep everything organized.
Cons:
The only minor drawback I've encountered is in the report/doc upload process. When using the dropdown menu to categorize the file, I found that the available options didn't always accurately reflect the type of report/doc I was uploading. It would be highly beneficial if we had the ability to add or customize more choices in that dropdown, perhaps through an Admin function (which I don't currently have).
