I think the tool is easy to use but still lacks in advanced features for developers where other tools like UiPath still offer a stronger product with a lot more power. The usability of the tool overall has improved especially for testing. Being a non-code, dragon drop platform, it's quite simple to use and, along with co-pilot and templates, it works very well for automating simple yet time-consuming tasks. And the best part is integration with Microsoft 365, linking with Microsoft PBI, Excel, and SharePoint to automate tasks beyond just data entry, and you can manage the process flows very easily, set their time and execution date. In terms of security, it regularly asks the user to authenticate the MS credentials and stops if there are any problems with access or security. #### Cons Although it's a no-code or low-code platform, it does require some level of understanding if you're trying to link and automate tasks from various sources. No incentive was offered In 2020 when school classes first moved online or students attended on a rotating basis, the rush of posting daily lesson plans while starting video calls and managing on premise students was an unneccesary stressor. I built Flows to automate that process - automatically posting the daily lesson to Teams (as channel posts as we were required, which could not otherwise be scheduled) at the beginning of each class, retrieved from a document I updated the day before. I have since expanded the use to school wide collection and distribution of announcements (Forms > Share Point > Teams, Outlook, HTML, RSS for students, staff, website, and TV displays), scheduling of resources in our Student Services departments, and various other time-saving applications. A rough estimate would be that my automations save me approximately 45 - 60 minutes of work each day. The pricing is good since you can use it for free as long as you already have a microsoft account. Even with the premium features, the price is worth the upgrade and you can have one account for your business to run multiple flows. #### Cons There are certain setbacks to the system as there are known errors that I have run into multiple times that Microsoft hasn't fixed. One of the major examples is if a file has been opened by a user recently on SharePoint, Power Automate can't seem to move the file because it will say the file is locked. It is really easy to get started with the cloud application and even if there is no native connector for your favourite app, if it has an API to interact with, Power Automate can help. #### Cons Unfortunately, this application's connections are less reliable than you think. Having to authenticate and monitor for failed flows is something that can take up a lot of time.
