- The automation features, like workflows, email alerts, and task reminders, helped streamline sales and marketing activities.

- Within a single platform, it offers an entire suite of capabilities for lead management, deal tracking, workflow automation, and enhanced client engagement.

### Most mentioned cons

- For more than two months, Zoho was unable to correct billing issues on its own systems after transitioning our account from annual to monthly billing.
- Customer Support can also be inconsistent and sometimes slow to resolve deeper technical issues unless you pay for premium support tier
- Also the mobile app works but not as smooth as desktop, especially when updating records quickly.

### An affordable Saas CRM for your sales pipeline

Zoho CRM is an inexepensive CRM system that does the job well for certain things, and we use it for our sales pipeline tracking; it's good for lead tracking.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

After using it for a few years now, Zoho is a good, simple, internet based CRM that does the job well for our sales-pipeline tracking.

#### Cons

I am not loving that it is still a SAAS system, where you pay monthly, basically renting the software in perpetuity. We will be scaling back on it as we build our own in-house version for the sales-pipeline.

### Flexible Business Platform with Plenty of Capability

Overall, my experience with Zoho has been positive. It's a flexible platform that offers a wide range of business functionality and can support a variety of teams and processes without needing multiple disconnected systems. From a SaaS and SDR perspective, it provides good visibility into customer information, activities, and workflows while remaining relatively easy to use once you're familiar with the platform. The feature set is probably its biggest strength. There's a lot of capability available, particularly for businesses looking to automate processes and centralise information. The platform isn't perfect—some workflows could be more streamlined, and the interface can occasionally feel a little busy—but overall it's a capable and reliable solution. I wasn't involved in procurement or administration, so I can't comment too deeply on customer support or the commercial side of the platform. From an end-user perspective though, it delivered what I needed and provided a good balance between functionality and usability.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Zoho offers a broad range of functionality and does a good job of bringing different business processes together in one ecosystem. From my experience, the biggest strengths were the range of features available and the flexibility of the platform. Whether it's CRM, reporting, workflows, automation, or customer management, there's generally a solution within the Zoho suite for what you're trying to achieve. The user interface is reasonably clean and easy to navigate once you're familiar with it. It doesn't take long to get comfortable with the basics, and most day-to-day tasks are straightforward. Access and connectivity were also strong. Being cloud-based made it easy to access information from anywhere, and it integrated reasonably well with other business systems. For teams looking to centralise information and improve collaboration, the platform offers plenty of functionality without needing multiple standalone tools. From a value for money perspective, Zoho appears to offer a lot of capability relative to many larger platforms, particularly for growing businesses looking to scale without significant software costs.

#### Cons

The biggest challenge is that the platform can sometimes feel like it's trying to do a lot of things at once. While the interface is generally good, certain areas can feel a little inconsistent, and some workflows aren't always as intuitive as they could be. You occasionally find yourself clicking through multiple screens to complete relatively simple tasks. Because of the number of features available, there can also be a learning curve for new users, particularly if they're not familiar with CRM or business management systems. I've experienced a few minor bugs and quirks over time, but nothing significant enough to impact day-to-day use. Customer support isn't something I've had much direct involvement with, so I can't comment too heavily there.

#### Reasons for switching to Zoho CRM

Tried different solutions and ended up with the one that best fit - Hubspot.

I still much prefer Hubspot as a CRM, and I've also experimented with other email tools that blow Zoho out of the water.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 2/5

#### Pros

Not much! I find it a difficult to use platform that lacks basic features and makes it hard to do the things I need.

#### Cons

The automated email workflows is still my least favorite feature, and it's core to what I need for a CRM.

### It's a decent CRM for tracking deals, though the mobile app is pretty clunky.

- Overall rating: 4/5
- Reviewer: Andy C.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Sporting Goods
- Company size: 51-200 employees
- Product usage: Used daily for less than 2 years

It does what we need for managing our sales pipeline and client database without the enterprise price tag. Setting it up took a bit of trial and error to get the fields just right for real estate, honestly. It's not perfect by any means, but it’s really helped us stay organized as we've grown from just me into a small team tracking multiple deals at once.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The pipeline view is a lifesaver, I can see exactly where every deal stands without having to dig through messy spreadsheets. Custom fields are great, too, since they let me track commission splits and referral sources exactly how I need them. The email integration works well enough that I’m not constantly logging client conversations twice, which is a huge time-saver. Overall, the reporting covers what I need for my weekly forecasts, and honestly, the price point just made sense when we finally switched over from our old system.

#### Cons

The mobile app is really frustrating when I'm out showing properties and need to update deal stages on the fly. Setting up simple tasks with workflow automation takes way more clicks than it actually needs to. Plus, the search feature sometimes just won't pull up contacts I know are in there, it’s a waste of time when I'm standing right there with a client.

### It's helpful for keeping track of enrollment and how we’re interacting with parents.

It does what we need for managing parent communications and tracking enrollments, though it's clearly built for sales teams rather than early childhood programs. Once you figure out which parts to ignore, it works well enough. Worth considering if you have budget and need better organization than spreadsheets offer.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

We use this to keep track of parent inquiries and follow-ups during enrollment season. It’s pretty handy for storing contact details and keeping all my notes from meetings with families in one place. Honestly, the email templates are a lifesaver when I'm dealing with a flood of admission queries. Plus, being able to see the full history of our conversations really helps out when parents come back months later asking if we still have any spots left.

#### Cons

The setup took way longer than I expected. Honestly, some of the features feel too complicated for what we actually need, and the mobile app doesn't always sync right. That's pretty annoying when I'm away from my desk. Then there's the pricing, it adds up fast if you want the features that actually matter for small educational settings.

Overall, my experience with Zoho CRM has been positive. It provides a solid combination of contact management, email communication, workflow automation, and sales tracking capabilities. I like the flexibility and the range of features available in Zoho CRM. It makes it easy to manage customer information, track interactions, organize leads, and keep sales activities in one place. The workflow automation is also useful for reducing repetitive tasks and keeping follow-ups organized. The platform offers good value for the number of features included.

#### Cons

This is a great CRM option for businesses that don't have a large budget. That being said, it doesn't feel cheap and includes a lot of great features for sales and marketing teams.

#### Cons

The email tool is a little basic regarding design templates - although the scheduling functionality is good. The reporting module could be improved. The standard reports didn't quite fit what we required and it was difficult to find the relevant fields when creating custom reports.

#### Reasons for switching to Zoho CRM

My overall experience with Zoho CRM has been positive most times, once i set up my page, ZOHO CRM does an amazing job keeping everything organized from leads, contacts, deals and communication history are all easy to be tracked in one place. That being said, it's not perfect, in the early startup, it was a bit frustrating and every now and then, the platform looked a bit clustered. Overall, I would say my experience is reliable and practical. It is not the best CRM out there, but it gets the work done

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

Zoho CRM is an app I keep coming back to because of its interface simplicity and effective functionality

#### Cons

My least favourite thing about Zoho CRM is it can feel a bit clustered, sometimes one will have to click through many screens to get something that can ordinarily be gotten easily. Although it's not bad but can be improved.

It is a perfect fit for our team's processes and it is an economical choice to keep us organized. The advanced features do have a learning curve, but are effective upon proper configuration. The best I can say is that it’s a stable and solid option for properly midsize businesses such as ours, where we need a blend of capabilities in contact administration, e-mail communications, and process automation.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

This one is extremely organized to handle our client and partner databases. The customizability of the fields is something I appreciate as it allows us to modify it for our needs and not have to use pre-made templates. What I really like about the e-mail is that it's contained in the system, so it's great for after-sales. It’s reasonably priced for the features you get.

#### Cons

Certain automation workflows are overly cumbersome to build, particularly when including multiple conditions and actions. Additionally, although the platform permits email marketing, the analytics provided on email campaigns appear a little elementary compared to devoted email marketing tools. Data visualization and reports could be richer and easier to understand with a simple glance at it.

Zoho CRM has helped me with my sales and customer management processes. I used it to manage a pipeline of more than 100 prospects and the real-time analytics allowed me to recognize opportunities and close deals quicker. It is a great tool for businesses aiming to grow their operations.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I really enjoy how Zoho CRM brings together all customer engagements, enabling easy handling of leads, opportunity tracking and automated workflows. I used it (for instance) to automate the follow-up email for my sales team, and the response rates improved massively. Another great feature of Zia, the AI-powered sales assistant, is that it can predict trends and prioritize leads accordingly.

#### Cons

As a CRM newbie, the interface can seem cluttered and overwhelming at first. The most advanced features, including custom modules and integrations, are only available on a higher-tier plan, which may lead to additional costs for smaller businesses.

"I’ve been with Zoho for over 10 years, so clearly it works. The CRM has always been solid, which keeps me loyal. While the added features over time feel cluttered and sometimes frustrating, the core functionality still delivers what I need most."

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 1/5

#### Pros

"I’ve used Zoho for a long time, back when it was primarily a CRM—and I loved it. It was simple, reliable, and helped me stay organized. Over time, the platform has grown, but that original CRM core remains solid and effective."

#### Cons

"Over the years, Zoho grew into an overwhelming platform with too much functionality I don’t need. I try to strip out the clutter to keep it user-friendly, but their limits on customization make that difficult—and that’s frustrating when I just want simplicity."
