Super Salon Software


SuperSalon is a salon management solution available both in the cloud and as an on-premise system. Key features include sales, payroll and inventory reporting, along with traffic-based staffing and predictive purchasing.

SuperSalon maintains customers' purchase histories, so users can track services and product preferences. Users can also generate custom offers and coupons.

SuperSalon provides users customer relationship management capabilities. Users can send customers marketing messages, create loyalty programs and enable customers to check in online.

Mobile applications for iOS and Android devices are available. Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis that includes support via phone and email.

Super Salon POS & Digital Sign

The benefits are the quick help from the technical support team. Most recently we set up our Digital Signs at all of our locations and the customer representative was extremely helpful!

Pros

It is a very easy POS system to use and to teach new team members. The technical support team is very knowledgeable and helpful. The salon and stylist data that is compiled along with all the reports that are offered. The i-Office feature of Super Salon allows you to gather salon data from anywhere. And the Digital Signs were so easy to set up and make changes.

Cons

I would like to be able to integrate the client information of the POS systems of all of our locations.

I am the general manager for supercuts,In Gainesville and Cummings Georgia . ..I called to set up the bright sign for the shop in Gainesville over a year ago.The technical support from Support team,was outstanding . .I called for assistance again this evening for an update and a new usb,install , I asked for Support team...Again with no surprise , the Support team was amazing and now we here at supercuts,are ready with a new look and prepared to give our guests a wonderful experience . .Thanks again to Support team..

Pros

one of the good thing about the software is that, it is very easy to use.

Cons

The software has multiple problems including connectivity, lag time, and internal software issues as well. It is very hard for the software to be compatible with newer version of windows. As far as my knowledge goes, the software should be compatible with newer version of windows.

Ok Software

It's an ok software that could be better.

Pros

What I like most is that the software is designed as a point of sale system to check customers in, sell products and services, check out along with reports.

Cons

In several cases it's not possible to exit from a pop up window via a cancel button or box or even an escape button leading to problems of getting stuck in a procedure that you don't want. The support team can take several hours to respond even in system down situations. That said, when support does respond, in most cases I've found them to be very knowledgeable and helpful.

Good Tech Support Person

Pros

The tech support person did a great job helping me through an Item Master Update problem.

Cons

The Item Master update process needs to be re-vamped. It is too easy to screw it up and get your item master way too large.

Supersalon

My experience with SuperSalon has not been good. If I had another vender to use, I would.

Pros

4 or 5 reports are beneficial. (i.e.: daily sales; salon dashboard, ect)

Cons

9 out of 10 times support is terrible. Hold times are extremely long, even on the outage line. If you leave a message no return calls happen. Now and again I do deal with someone, tonight who is a ray of sunshine in the group.

Great Customer Support

The customer representative was extremely helpful in transitioning our credit card provider change from the heartland to Tsys. He stayed back extra hours to help us complete the setup so that we could be operational the next day without glitches. He also gave us several suggestions about the POS settings to use it better. We are really happy with our experience.

Not having access to database to be able to write our own queries.

Pros

All in one place we can manage schedules, inventory, sales, payroll, appointments, discounts, etc. It is very convenient to have the functionality all in one place

Small bugs seem to be an issue with Supersalon and we typically need tech support to resolve, are unable to troubleshoot ourselves. Software updates also tend to create unintended consequences and we have to get tech support to resolve

It’s fine if you have to use it

Pros

When it works, it is nice to be able to make appts and keep client daya

Cons

The updates always create a whole new set of problems. The tech support takes a very long time to get back with you even when a guest is waiting. There are way too many buttons to click to make a simple appointment (lots of oks and dones). They support claims they can’t fix things or make it work and even will say it never did something that’s it’s always done. Report numbers don’t always match from report to report even when it’s the same data. There are lots of glitches you learn to work around because they won’t fix the problem or admit to one. They’ll blame other software. Not all of the techs are friendly and treat you as if you’re an idiot instead of just helping solve the problem at hand. After awhile you try to diagnose and fix the problem yourself because it’s easier than calling.

Repeated problems never corrected.

Lately, with new owners, terrible.so far removed they have no clue what our issues are.

Pros

We have multiple locations so we are familiar with it.

Cons

Three locations and none are the same. When updates come out, they have issues they can’t resolve. Hit and miss if you have someone who’ll fix things. Some issues over two months old and they will not fix and keep saying they’ll elevate. Terrible quality when you call in. Have to email issues to one, document the problem and how many times without resolution and to avoid delay that comes with phone calls. Have to use this as required by corporate. If you want improvements, have to ask and never hear back from anyone. .

Digital Team is Great

Pros

My best experience has been working with the Digital Team to customize my digital menu board. Our customer service rep and his team are responsive and diligent and produce excellent product.

Cons

Installation was a nightmare and have spent weeks working through a variety of problems. Also there are too many reports to find the data that I need.

We have some ups and downs but overall, I am pretty impressed with how responsive and how the team at Super Salon handles situations!

Pros

the customer support from Super Salon is awesome! He talked me through some things happening with our Super Salon Software and made me aware of things happening around our locations! He explains everything with details and offers options of what to do if we ever have certain things happening! Thank you!

Cons

I hate the fact that technology is not perfect but that 's not Super Salons fault! :P

The exeutive did AMAZING.. FIXED OUR COMPUTER QUICKLY

Our computer messed up at 10 am talked with SEVERAL people some level 3 techs... I talked with the executive at about 7:45 on 9/4/18 and he had it fixed in 5 min

Its easy to use, and east to understand.

Nothing until it messes up. Once it messes up then it can be a pain
