UI is pretty simple and good as well. While taking backup is a little bit tough but overall it's a very good product for code management.

Little tough to integrate from command prompt on windows or mac. I can't find any other defects or bugs in this software.

From the get go, GitLab has been amazing to work with. It was a breeze to integrate their API, too.

I do have some complaints about it. I hope that newer versions will make my complaints obsolete.

GitHub is a tool that helps you in your day to day and allows you to quickly advance in your work, it is very complete and you can find within it all kinds of things that can help you.

I would say that it is not easy to upgrade or migrate to a new server. If any function fails, the rest usually fail.

It is best secure platform to make my code go there, and it is also best in pushing and pulling my code.

It's superb we can recommend for anyone. If our commit has some conflict it shows how to resolve that step by step.

It is available in both community version and Enterprise version. Version control and code review made easy with gitlab.

Some of the directions from the developers are very vague. They forget that not everyone using the platform isn't a technician genius.

My only and “first” code versioning program ever. I really recommend it over any other solution out there, the features  are top and the repositories and GUI just look so professional and awesome.

Easy to use with a modern interface. Gitlab enterprise is a nice self hosted option with good project control.

There are also a good number of settings that allow you to control options such as how you want to handle merge commits, giving you complete control over your repository.

Merge conflict solver is very confusing. I think GitLab team should come up with different design to solve the conflicts.

There are some features missing or not implemented properly in Gitlab + the lack of funding makes it ver hard to expand on Gitlab and use it full time.

Don't forget the issue tracking it's really fun to use and support markdown making it much more awesome. The community edition is really amazing with community support is marvelous.

SonarQube provides a dashboard and reporting features that allow developers to track the progress of code quality metrics and identify areas that require attention.

The setup with CodeCoverage is a nightmare and it seems is not working equallty well all the time.

First of all, The tool has a great user interface highlighting all of the errors and bugs. It also shows how much effort is needed to fix those as well.

Time was wasted initially trying to pass parameters into the cli command that had no effect. It turned out that some properties had to be set in a sonar-project.properties in the source repository.

PR analysis and Integration with Bitbucket are most helpful.

If you are going to generate a report and send an email for the first portfolio calculation then the rest of the 19 projects info for that day will be missed.
