mHelpDesk is a field service solution that helps customers automate everything from first customer contact to getting paid. This includes customer management, quoting, dispatching, invoicing, billing and reporting.

mHelpDesk has multiple features to support a field service-oriented business, including integration with both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop for accounting. It also offers an offline mode, which allows technicians to continue using the mobile app in areas without internet or cell reception.

Since it’s entirely cloud-based, mHelpDesk is accessible on any mobile device with internet access. This allows field techs to access all the necessary information about a job right from their mobile device. mHelpDesk also provides visibility into staff schedules, helping to dispatch and alert field employees.

Estimates and invoices are customizable, allowing organizations to create templates that make sense for their business and customers. The system also integrates with any unique company website, providing functional widgets, forms and login boxes.

    Perfect fit that has the option to integrate with Quickbooks, but works as a standalone if you want to separate it from your accounting system.

    Cons

    There is a minor lag time when saving and switching between screens. This is slightly annoying, but really the only complaint I have.

    I liked being able to make clear and understandable work tickets and invoices for payment. Would use again.

    The application provides free training to help you use the application well. Supports the different workflows, be it scheduled or unscheduled. The application ensures great customer service. For every work order, you will be able to generate relevant estimates and invoices. The best feature is that you can manage all your employees and work orders in one place. It has a robust searchability feature. You can easily customize the templates. It helps you track work orders and update them. You can add notes and comments, which will be seen by respective team members. By a click you can send all your data to QuickBooks, eliminating data entry. You can work by enabling the offline mode any time you lose internet connection.

    Cons

    We can’t add multiple administrators in to the platform which is a a very bad drawback. Mobile tracking lacks accuracy.

    It tortured us for 2 years!

    Pros

    At this point NONE, it is overly complicated, inflexible and often doesn't even work as it should! They do not respond in a timely manner. 2 years ago before the company was bought out they were better, they at least tried to help although the program was still glitchy then too!

    Cons

    It is full of fatal glitches which render the program useless!!! The tech staff are polite but completely not knowledgable and so unhelpful. The phone app would not display our workers jobs, it has been 10 days and the issue remains unfixed!

    mhelpdesk seems to make it's money by making promises and charging a fee for setup. Then when they can't deliver they keep the setup fee (even though not setup was done).

    Pros

    The scheduling feature works OK and a very basic calendar. Nothing else works as promised by the sales representative.

    Cons

    The report customization is limited to only select templates.
    the workflow is not customizable (you can only turn off/ on features).
    The Customer Equipment section is useless.
    Charged for a setup fee and NO setup was done.

    We have been using this software for a little over a year now. After discovering that it was not going to work for what we originally planned it for, we have tweaked our usership of it to work with us.

    Cons

    For recurring work orders or jobs, this software is not the best. This software works great for one time jobs. We typically use it for one time jobs and walk-in customers that will not have an account attached to the job.

    My favorite thing about the product is that is very easy to use and learn. very user friendly. great customer service when help is needed

    The biggest con to me is that you must have and or pay for multiple users, which is more expensive. not necessary in my case

    2. When I choosing item to add it to estimate or job or invoice I can’t see quantity, only price. But it very important for me to see what we have on hand and how much exactly at this stage.

    The office at the company I work for seems to have issues with things changing, when mhelpdesk tries to address a particular issue/complaint they wind up creating a problem in a feature that didn’t have a problem before.

    Pros

    It is easy enough to move through the program and fairly simple to learn. The tabs and tools are intuitive and it is easy to delete errors.

    Cons

    Very limited customization at the employee access level. It is not possible to resize windows to see more information in the description fields.

    Please add a receipt function for payments.

    Pros

    Easy to use and has got almost all tools and functions that i need for my business.
    Yeah i think that's it.

    Cons

    It doesn't have a receipt function for paid jobs, i would like to give my clients receipts after paying me, by check or cash but this product doesn't have that function.

    I signed up this program based on a recommendation and they told me it was great customer support. I have not had the same experience, I am pretty independent and a quick learner, I feel like I need to really know computer coding to use this program most effectively and that is something I don't know well.

    Pros

    I like that I can go paperless, its nice to have price lists and communicates with quickbooks. The two reasons why we picked it was because of its offline mode and that it worked with Quickbooks. Not sure yet it if is worth the set up frustrations.

    Cons

    Has a lot of functions but not easy to set up, there is a lot of steps to get things accomplished from start to finish. Had a lot of questions my rep could not answer. Every time I think I have something figured out there is another bump in the road. We use ipads in the field and it doesn't feel like this is something that is common, or at least all of my questions about it have yet to be answered.

    I like how it files the customers. Its convenient to access and is usually easy to navigate through the program . Always have some one just a message away to assist with any issues . LOVE THAT!

    Cons

    Sometimes there is cliches in the program. You have to review Every little thing you add, update, change, edit, customize before sending or printing . I have had a lot of issues with it downloading the wrong property / customer im up dating / reviewing / changing . Recently it has some how changed the return address to the Office in PA.

    The auto fill with New Zealand map when logging customers details and working with our Xero accounting package

    Pros

    Good system but need to work with out accounting package. Xero.
    The mobile app is very good, can we do gps check where techs are?

    Cons

    There are few things the system needs to do.
    1. System needs to be fast, is has been slow and down lately
    2. Our address map on the system not working for nz
    3. The texting option to opt out should be if they reply no text update rather then the option
    4 should auto search from data base the end users details and it should not be tied with billing Customer.

    The ease of use and great customer support service. If I have questions I can easily chat. If it complex they will call you directly. I usually get any issues resolved quickly. The issues are usually user error. They take suggestions, and those suggestions can actually come to fruition.

    Cons

    That I don’t put it to better use. I really need to sit down and take more time to just go through all the things it can do and see how I could implement more of the features.

    Viewing files without downloading them and having more than one type of user would be pretty basic and easy features to add.

    Pros

    The Pipelines or stages are great. The calendar feature to schedule people is on track to be something great, but lacking that little something that would make it fantastic. The price is pretty good. Invoicing works good. Texting from the software and email from the software are nice features.

    Cons

    PDF's cannot be viewed without downloading them. Cannot click on different peoples calendar to show them on a touchscreen computer; you must use your finger on the screen. Only one level of user types is practical - Admin and Manager are essentially the same thing...

    This is by far the best field service software I have used so fAR and the support team is TOP NOTCH!!!

    Cons

    There is a slight learning curve but the training and support make it painless! this make my business look so much more professional and keeps all of my customers contact information at my fingertips.
