That I can search for a contract by using the customer phone number. That I can copy and paste the wording when need it. #### Cons Quotations feature, because a lot information is required. It will be nice just to have the prices available when using the quote, no need to enter customer info because if the customer wants to purchase is very easy to create a draft contract and submit it when the person pays the down payment. Some times I just need to see few prices and the faster way to view prices is by opening a draft contract and go strait to step 3 to search the prices. #### Reasons for switching to PlotBox The organization make the switch because only admin had access to Nexus and Admin were the only ones that enter the contract information into the system and placed the plot on hold. The process alignment exercise helped to ensure that PlotBox was configured to our needs and that we also understood from our side what would be changed. Nothing has been made complicated. PlotBox is perfectly in tune with the business we’re in. And because the system leads - it’s impossible to miss something out. We now have a complete picture of a burial/interment, from start to finish - every deed transfer, every memorial test, every work order - we have a complete audit trail. Another benefit of the system is the ability to upload documents, we can now see interment forms, or transfer forms linked to plot records, keeping everything visible and connected. #### Cons I can honestly say nothing, every contact we have had with PlotBox has been positive and the systems receives updates, enhancements and tweaks - all designed to improve the user experience. #### Vendor response Hey :) Love hearing anything about removing spreadsheets! The ability to have our entire cemetery and plots digitally mapped out while out on the grouds has made a world of difference. #### Cons I am not sure I can give an honest answer for a dislike as I am still in the learning phase and do not wnat to confuse something I may not understand or haven't fully mastered as a dislike. #### Reasons for switching to PlotBox Our former system is not listed above but would not allow me to write it in. Recording documents is straightforward, and the mapping feature has made a huge difference to the way we work. Being able to view individual graves on screen, rather than having to physically go into the cemetery, saves a significant amount of time and makes finding information much easier. The booking system is also excellent. It has been built to suit the way we work, making it clear, intuitive, and consistent for all users. This has improved communication, reduced confusion, and provided much greater clarity across every booking. #### Cons The main thing I like least about PlotBox is that there isn't an offline mode. As the system relies on an internet connection, it can be difficult to access when working in areas of the cemetery with poor or no signal. While it hasn't happened to us so far, if our internet connection were to go down, we wouldn't be able to access PlotBox to view service details or check bookings, which could be challenging. During the initial setup, we also experienced a few bugs and issues. However, these were resolved quickly and efficiently by the support team, who were responsive and helpful throughout the process. #### Vendor response Hey Moira :) Really glad the mapping and booking features are saving you time out in the field! It is fast and you are able to remove certain fields before you run the report. It produces you a report in Excel CSV or a PDF. You can have essential information within seconds, extremely useful when in meetings and the head of service is wanting information about cremations, burials or memorial sales etc. I also like the fact you can attach documents to it such as crem forms etc. This cuts down on the archived papers that we have to keep. It is best to get into the habit of scanning everything no matter how unimportant it might be at the time, if you need to see after the event or to chase something up, it is there wothin the record. #### Cons It can be difficult to navigate at first with quite a lot of toing and froing between pages, the other least thing I like about it is if you have several cemetery sites it does not give you a running sheet of the days events. #### Vendor response Hey Mick :) Really happy the reporting is saving you time in meetings! The death care industry is complex and has a lot of variety to deal with so it's a difficult task to implement the new system and bring the staff along for the journey. As a customer we have had to spend a lot on our own resources to get the result but I always anticipated this. PlotBox were responsive and helped us through. Changing systems was necessary for us and PlotBox was the right system for our operation. Uses your REAL aerial photo to use for mapping. Makes it so much easier for customers to find graves. *Document retention: Scan/attached relevant current and historical documentation to any transaction, burial, deed, or transfer record. Never go looking for it again. It's always attached for a quick review or question. *Cloud Based: PlotBox team handles all updates, backups, and IT. I'm a cemetery professional not an IT professional. Also, I can jump on PlotBox from home and assist staff that is in the office working with a family should they need my assistance. *Deed History: When plot transfers happen, PlotBox tracks all previous transactions and links them all together for a full view of the history of each plot (with all documentation) at your finger tips. *Permits: I can track all work being done in my cemetery from our own work, to all work done by outside contractors, and outside memorial companies. If a question arrises later, we have all documents, authorizations, and memorial spec drawings, all in one place for review at any time in the future. *Images: PlotBox allows you to attach images to plot records, interment records, etc., so you have a complete view of what is out on the grave, crypt, or niche, without leaving the office! *Aggregation of information: Bringing it all together.. Open up a decedent record and - BOOM there is everything related to that burial - linked and accessible! #### Cons Some minor features are still being cleaned up; however, the PlotBox team is constantly improving and upgrading the product. We use it for Cemeteries & Crematorium Administration. Once you have the training and have been working the system, it is a super to use.The mapping feature is great and it very helpful for the public searches for burials. #### Cons It does take a little time to get the way of it - like any new system. With regards to the implementation of the system, we’ve found PlotBox staff to be incredibly communicative and flexible with us. We were kept well informed of timelines throughout the project. Towards the end of implementation, we found we needed more time to get used to the system and they were more than happy to push out the ‘go-live’ date until we were comfortable.With regards to system features, the mapping has been a real highlight for us. We’ve had 4 facilities mapped and haven’t looked back. It’s so easy now to find a plot and all records associated with it. We’ve found PlotBox’s support amazing. There’s a live chat available during business hours and loads of support documents on the system for when there’s no one around. It’s been invaluable for us to have those facilities available, especially during the go-live period. #### Cons We had to do quite a bit of work around the understanding of new workflows, and we’ve had to adapt our processes to work with the PlotBox system.
