Pros
- I have used this product for a number of years, and 10 years ago it was a superior product and it is still a superior product.
- The huge recent addition is integration between the GradeBook and Google Classroom, that really helped our school during Covid-19 as did their fantastic Support and other teams.
Cons
- At times when I'm using the QE feature, the individual grades gets deleted. The app is terrible For the student to check grades and homework assignments/answers that I have posted.
- But the administrator has to remote into a Windows environment, which is really just a minor inconvenience all things considered, and they are working on the new web based Admin Plus.
Pros
- I like the ease of finding information for the students and being able to connect with the parents this way. Easy to pull reports that I can use to help with enrollment and decisions.
- This was my first year as a teacher, and I loved using ALMA because I got the chance to put all the information that I needed in that Software.
Cons
- Nothing stands out as a negative. I would be searching to find something that dissatisfied us.
- There are some features that are missing. We have requested GPA-based grade calculation and some additions to transcripts that have not yet been implemented.
