Pros
- This software was easily integrated into our program and my parents like it. Billing helped reclaim employee time and help parents pay faster.
- It is convenient and the cost is affordable. The parents and staff love it.
Cons
- I dislike that you are unable to see your punch in and punch out time. You should be able to see your location at all time.
- I work for a company that uses Brightwheel and I firmly believe that this app and others like it are awful. They enable helicopter parenting, distract teachers, and set a bad example for children.
Pros
- Tracking activities can easily be added into the system to make sure that when students have changes in academic activities, we can monitor and send out the required tracking mechanisms.
- The user interface is fairly clean and intuitive for the most part, and training has been very simple to accomplish for most of the end users - particularly for students and faculty.
Cons
- Once I posted the financial aid of the student, I could not delete it anymore if I happen to make a mistake. I have to make another entry to negate it.
- An example of this is syncing Campus Cafe with Canvas LMS- students who withdraw or drop would sometimes sync with Canvas and other times it would not. So there was that inconsistency.
