Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • This software was easily integrated into our program and my parents like it. Billing helped reclaim employee time and help parents pay faster.
  • It is convenient and the cost is affordable. The parents and staff love it.
  • Cons

  • I dislike that you are unable to see your punch in and punch out time. You should be able to see your location at all time.
  • I work for a company that uses Brightwheel and I firmly believe that this app and others like it are awful. They enable helicopter parenting, distract teachers, and set a bad example for children.

  • A modern web-application interface makes MS convenient, efficient, and attractive.
  • I like how many features it has. My company uses it for both tracking student data and attendence, as well as for contact information.
  • Cons

  • Drop down menus on the questionaires are difficult to read on a cell phone, if the response options are long you can't always read the whole thing.
  • Report export takes sometime a moment (less than a minute anyway) to generate the grades but it's mostly due to a complex calculation system we are using with many exceptions (sorry for complexity).
