Pros/Cons
Pros
- We have had good experiences with the customer service accept of the system and help in how it functions.
- I love the way that parents are able to see the progress of their students and be able to be informed at their children's progress.
- My overall experience has been great. It takes some time to learn all you can do with it, but once you do it is a real aid to your work load and ability to support teachers.
Cons
- Not sure if this is our district's problem or the software, but for some reason, problems with it frequently have to be fixed.
- Navigating can be a bit confusing at times. There are a lot of windows to click on and if you don't write down directions, you will be stuck trying to remember how to get to a particular window.
- Sometimes you have to do the same thing in two different places which can be irritating.
Pros
- The support team is wonderful. Very helpful when I call with questions or need help navigating the program.
- Overall we are thrilled and the more we learn about what Procare can do, the happier we are with it.
- Our childcare likes Procare for its ease of use. Parents like it for the communication ability.
Cons
- They seem to have server problems all the time. They blame firewalls when we know it is not.
- Sometimes we have troubles after software updates and that causes some inconvenience.
- I am so disappointed (and on the hook with closed modules, they somehow cannot open) that I am considering making 'PROCARE STINKS" t-shirts for national & state conferences.
