The support staff are incredibly supportive, responding to requests in a timely and helpful manner. Their commitment to customer support is one of the best I have ever encountered.

Having said that we knew this would be an ongoing problem on both vendors sides and were prepared for the delays that are occurring.

Schoolbox is a great company to deal with. They are responsive and timely in attending to issues, and I really appreciate their focus on improving their product.

I think Schoolbox is a very good product and we are doing our best to achieve an excellent implementation - it is not a small undertaking.

Love that it is mobile responsive, clear communications to parents, students and staff. Powerful grader, markbook and reporting platform.

They have built solid partnerships with other service providers and are always looking for additional partners.

The system integration with 3rd party platforms, continuous reporting opportunities and ease of content creation.

Back end can be difficult and integration is not as it was explained.

Great Parent Portal, it's Easy to use and they are always developing new and relevant features.

It's hard to identify any cons, but for us here in Queensland, I felt that Schoolbox was a bit slow to provide software changes to facilitate changes to the senior schooling system.

There is also much greater oversight on an individuals total workload and the ability to more effectively manage this.

The ease of use for storing information that is shared with multiple students across multiple platforms.

Communication & access to information are the two major problems we are solving.

It is an off the shelf prodcut purchased that was able to replace a number of bespoke, complicated solutions previously used. We had rapid on-boarding of staff due to it's ease of use.

Their communication regarding changes is excellent and their annual user groups meetups both nationally and state ones are brilliant.

Once teachers have a grasp of this aspect of Schoolbox, there is no stopping them.

The benefits have been that its been a simple system for staff to use and learn and its had great impact on keeping staff accountable and providing parents with better visibility on learning.

This is the feature staff find most frustrating. Technically, it has taken some time to smooth out the link between our SIS (PCSchool) and Schoolbox.

We like the ease of use for students, staff and parents.

We're very excited about the future developments, including the new ePortfolio coming in 2020 that will be fantastic for our Junior School.

The company supported the school through the implementation process and their ongoing product support is very good.

The design reflects a deep understanding of how schools operate and it functions very reliably. Schoolbox is a sophisticated yet relatively simple tool to mange complexity in schools.

The only pain point is our specific customisations that often break with updates, so avoid customisation when you can.

A very intuitive LMS that requires minimal training at all levels of ability. To me it is a one stop shop for all teaching and learning matters and eliminates the use of other software's.

Information available about releases and changes and training material is fantastic. Easy to use - most features are intuitive.

Customer service is outstanding and this is so important.

The only thing I find negative with this software is not able to communicate back to the web base designer.

This is a great product, and is super easy to use for almost anyone, it is lacking in some features but overall great product.

What I liked most about this software is that it is perfect for flipped classroom lessons to have students view and access the material.

It's easy to see student progress and grades. Using folders and all of the different content options, it is very easy to organize the content so that students can navigate it easily.

I am taking online classes, which is super convenient for me,  I am grateful for the software that allows me to do that.

This LMS is superb, it has many features and you can do a lot of things that can really make your classroom management more efficient.

The only negative about this software is the fact it does not add higher education anymore. The has caused me not to use it as often as I use to.

I like the ease of use and the ability to stay up to date with my colleagues and the my division in general.

Simply put, Schoology's brilliant adaptation of a popular technology makes studying easy, interesting, fun, and entertaining.

Schoology can be used in basic to deeply developed ways. One of my favorite features is the ability to save and build content and items from course to course.

Often times during the course of a class mistakes are caught and need to be fixed.

Overall, it was a good experience and if I had more professors utilizing this application/software, I would like it.

I also love how you can integrate many of the top educational programs and apps right along with Schoology such as quizlet.com and nearpod.com.

The cross over from our SMS to this program is not always smooth and is a bit frustrating at times.

Our business is extremely productive thanks to Schoology. It gives teachers a lot of control over their class and a way to organize everything in a way that it saves time and money.

This software offers many features that cost extra in other Learning Management Systems. It very easy to use once you get started.

But in particular, there is nothing intuitive about how you use it. And the interface for parents is different enough from the interface for students that it is just frustrating to navigate.

This is a great LMS, the best right now in my opinion. The design is great and easy to navigate with little instruction.

Students enjoy using it, and having an app with it is a great tool. Frequent updates with new features show that customer service listens.

I would recommend Schoology for teachers that have a good understanding of technology. The price is a bit much but it does a lot if the teachers are willing to spend the time on it.

The customer service for Schoology is fantastic and the professional learning community in Schoology Educators is active and very helpful to anyone from a beginner to an advanced user.

I absolutely loved using Schoology in my classroom. It had ease of use for arranging materials, submitting assignments, and grading them quickly.

Schoology also has a badge rewards system where teachers can reward students for accomplishing certain tasks. Schoology simply is super customizable with a ton of features that other LMS  don't offer.

Something to help me with the load of paperwork I feel like I'm always drowning in. I love that I can integrate my classroom and teaching seamlessly with this LMS.

I also liked students messaging in schoology, they found this feature easy to use. I like that I also got an email when they messaged.

I hate that when you leave feedback students don’t see it unless they click into it, they get NO notification. Also so many “apps” and things.

Over the years of using Schoology, they have made many updates that have fixed the complaints I've had. My complaints come more from other systems we use, such as single sign on.

Service unstable on the East Coast as soon as West Coast schools come online and eventually Schoology crashes and becomes totally unavailable.

I like that I can receive notifications when a course is updated. The ability to have multiple courses in one place is very helpful.

I had trouble figuring out the Turnitin integration, but that may have been more of a user error on my part.

The software has very user friendly interface, its features are great, and its integration with Google drive makes me love it extremely.

The assignments were easy to get to and submit as well as read for discussion purposes. I loved that other software such as Zoom could be integrated to make taking the online classes easier.

Schoology is a cloud-based learning management solution specializing in curriculum management, course instruction and system-wide resource sharing and collaboration. Users can upload course content and assignments into the database to create their website, which is hosted by the vendor. From there, dynamic content creation tools and a rich text editor allows for the creation of content and lessons.


HTML and CSS tools are also available to keep lessons as visually simple or complex as desired. From the website, each student’s profile can be viewed to gauge progress. Color-coded workload thresholds will show if any students are overloaded. With web-based and native apps for iOS, Android and Kindle devices, Schoology allows students and faculty to collaborate and learn from anywhere. From system-wide district announcements to messages with customizable roles and permissions, users can access only the tools they need.
