Key features include load management, accounting, finance management, branch management and payment management functionalities within a suite. The load management functionality of the solution allows users to track supply orders, delivery dates, carriers and distances in the dashboard. Users can also track the financials of their load assignments to find out the most profitable ones. This module also allows users to assign the most profitable carriers and third party logistics service providers to ship their loads. AscendTMS features load GPS tracking which allows users to track the geographical location of their carriers on a physical map with the help of drivers' cell phones. I've used several (far more expensive) TMSs in the past decade, and AcendTMS is the best by far. The ease of use, integrations, and great customer service have made me a huge fan. #### Cons My only critique is that there is no open API yet, but I'm told that's in the works. Searchability is amazing. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 5/5 - Customer support: 5/5 - Functionality: 5/5 #### Pros Intuitive and easy to use. Fast and responsive. I did demos of a lot of different software and this one checked all the boxes. Support is very quick to reply and they are very open to changes or feature ideas. #### Cons Because the software has to cater to a large range and size of trucklines and brokers, sometimes that creates extra steps. Two examples, when uploaded a BOL within a load, you have to select the customer or it won't send with the Invoice. Other would be the customer email addresses show up when sending a carrier confirmation. They are unchecked and marked with a RED ! to say don't click this. But I would prefer they weren't there at all. #### Reasons for choosing AscendTMS Price, cloud based, intuitive feel, and friendliness of staff. #### Reasons for switching to AscendTMS Dispatch Mate by infosite was not option so I select one of there other products above. We had the local version that we paid for. They raised the support cost to be higher than the monthly charge for cloud TMS programs. It was stupid for us to pay for the hardware and support of the internal database and still pay more than cloud based software companies charge. #### Vendor response SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!!! Thank you.
