Pros/Cons
Pros
- Some of the features I enjoy the most about Dear, is the ease of use, and how everything is simply laid out, and easy to understand.
- Simple to understand and very good integration with other software. Video tutorials were excellent for someone who understands ERP and wants to implement a solution very quickly.
- The system is very user friendly and the support team is awesome. They are eager to help and always come through.
Cons
- The one thing we have trouble with is that it seems to troubleshoot every few months and stops synching our orders which we only notice a few days later.
- New situation, shipstation integration just stopped working. Submitted a ticket with the error details and steps to reproduce.
- I have to struggle to find a fault, really. I am sure there could be something, but I have yet to find it.
Pros
- We love that we can have all our drawings in one place with the most frequent one easy to find. I also love that it tracks all the revisions to documents.
- Some of the features of this program are very useful. It has been super useful for tracking all construction documents, as-builts, RFIs, Submittals, and even for completing observation reports.
- I enjoy the ability to have all of the contact information for each project and the ease of sending emails and tracking responses all in one place.
Cons
- Anything from Procore now immediate goes into my spam folder. Next time a general tells me they are using Procore I will be demanding an additional $3000 for my time to use this stupid software.
- It is a terrible, horrible piece of software. If you hate someone, force them to use this.
- There are so many things I dislike, it’s hard to know where to start.
