Pros/Cons
Pros
- FMIS Asset Management system is an excellent software. It has rich and easy to use functionalities.
- The Fixed Asset management system deals with our extensive assets and the support from FMIS when implementing the software, some bespoke was excellent.
- The customer service has been very good, all requests for help/any queries have been dealt with promptly and our client contact has always been willing to help.
Cons
- Searching for entries is a pain and often has to be exported because findings are too large.
- Mistakes would creep in and the formulas would get jacked up, balances weren't always correct and with out a full audit, mistakes aren't easy to see.
- Through no fault of FMIS we never really implemented the software correctly in the first place , this was down to our own internal resource at the time of implementation.
Pros
- I love the ease of use and how easy it is to navigate and pull the information that I need. The help desk and portal are extremely helpful and designed for the end user in mind.
- Multiview is very user friendly, it is easy to learn and helps up manipulate data from our EHR vendor when we can't get good reporting out of that system.
- The customer service I have received has also been incredibly remarkable. Timely answers and solutions to any problems encountered have added to my appreciation of this wonderful product.
Cons
- Aside from this, I have errors when printing bulk checks, where I've had to print them individually or generate separate files to compile for one bulk printing job.
- If an error is made in an journal entry, you have to create a whole new entry.
- Over time, it has become more difficult to get changes and some of the problems which have come up still haven't been resolved.
