Great Integration
The integration was seamless. The team was great to work with and very helpful.

Has been enjoyable and BAN staff always willing to help. Some communication issues as to what was assumed by us/TMCO and actual product results and applications. Mostly on the FB Management side and reporting updates.
PROSBoth API and EDI capabilities. Retrieval of document imaging an "Add Document" along with notes. Our ability to manage invoice flow and reduce paper with note files and status update options.From a larger scope, the ability to link Parcel, LTL and other modes of transportation. This coupled with ERP and ability to comply with our user's systems is very beneficial and progressive..
CONSFB Management and ability to pull accurate reporting as related to accounting invoice batch outs. All other items such as auto approvals, and EDI/API live feeds from carriers are excellent. Still in re-write process, but some of the reporting issue may be resolved by Manual Entry update (specific to TMCO) due 8/9/23 roll out.Suggest Bill of Lading Default set ups be saved by user log-in and not by company.

Industry reputation. We were received well by Banyan management. Flexibility to understand our business model.

A TMS with a lack of service and Utilities
Dispatching and tendering loads, quick, but customization and features were too basic
PROSIt did it's work. Worked just fine, our company use it for at least 4 years, so we cannot say it does not work. API linkage and all basics for a TMS
CONSService was not that good, no customization, or in a regrattable level Bugs, lot of them, and system went down in most critics times

We love Banyan
It has been great. Our biggest challenge is getting our customer base to utilize more of Banyan's offerings. Banyan allows us to compete with the big players in the industry.
PROSWe have had a great experience introducing Banyan's load file connectivity to customers for daily LTL scheduling. It simplifies routing, pricing, tracking and reporting. Most of our customers do not have technical support teams, but Banyan's technicians walked them through set-up and made integration easy.
CONSWe are a small player, with just two full-time employees. We are primarily an LTL provider for small to mid-sized shippers. We are being asked to move more TL each year, and look forward to being able to utilize your planned Trucker Tools roll-out.

It really comes down to customer support. The entire Banyan team has been very responsive to our needs.

Banyan and our LTL product
Simultaneous LTL carrier API quotes allow us to select carriers and book shipments with them in an efficient and seamless process. It's simply a matter of picking the carrier and then sending an electronic tender to schedule the pick up.
CONSThe JIRA Help Ticket process can be cumbersome at times due to responses not including previous message threads.

Great TMS!
What is great about this software is how quickly it can look through multiple carrier's rates in real time and return the best available rate in real time. Checking each shipment for the best carrier saves a lot of money.
