Look of the application. People understand Excel and this is what it looks like. Makes adoption rate climb. Vendor appreciate ease of log in and auto emails.

Initial set up of website and data interfacing with Company I.T. department to develop the necessary tables to automate nightly feed to Nocturne. I.T. departments are pressed with time and I found with each system launch it took weeks of I.T. time, trouble shooting and testing.


Your company presentation to "sell" the software to company leadership speaks about saving time-- This did not win them over which is why my current company does not utilize this great software. Recommendation to speak to the actual building of Supply Chain partnerships, Leaner inventory = lower costs, Having the right product at the right place in the right amount. This is what Nocturne is about but the presentation just did not say this; at least loud enough. The presentation should also speak towards the actual users- Understanding there are many "it depends" scenarios but the high level attitude is the data drives itself. Triggers are automated and streamlined so the buyers simply need to maintain the LSL/USL and Vendor to ensure they ship on time (which can be via the auto triggers). People are scared of change so painting the picture of the simplicity will ensure improved adoption rates.
