And also I really enjoy the fact that the technical support staff are available 24/7 even late at night and hence I can solve any issue at any point in time. Ratings Breakdown 4 Ease of use 4 Value for money 5 Customer support 5 Functionality Pros: The primary purpose of the use of Logility is to provide our team with a way to view data that would otherwise require the use of hundreds or thousands of excel spreadsheets and with Logility we are able to view both our inventory levels and sales figures in one location. In doing so, I save time and I can leave work thinking of things other than numbers. Cons: Each time the company performs an upgrade on their system, every single function appears to break. It seems as though they do no testing of the upgrades before releasing them. I spend numerous hours each week repairing the dashboards that were working perfectly well the previous week. Furthermore, I believe the documentation provided by the company is subpar and written with the intent of describing a completely different software system. Basically it stopped us from making decisions off three different versions of the truth. Ratings Breakdown 4 Ease of use 5 Value for money 4 Customer support 5 Functionality Pros: Ok i know you can hear the kids yelling in the background and im gonna have to bear with that, the most important part is that Logility has both demand planning and inventory/supply chain functionality within one platform rather than the prior practice of using multiple spreadsheets (5) to jump between. I can pull up the dashboards and visually analyze how demand inventory and supply chain are related to each other; and since these dashboards sync with our erp system the numbers i am analyzing are actual, not 3 days old. Forecasting accuracy improved since switching to Logility and that was not something id expected. Cons: Setup was longer than we were told - i mean a lot longer. Its a little petty but the ui still looks kinda out-of-date. Finding an exact metric thats titled differently than the dashboard title takes a while. Why cant they be the same. Ad hoc reporting/analysis isnt nearly as flexible as id like it to be either. Sometimes i still have to find a workaround to view the data in a certain way across various geographies. And I am no longer required to spend countless hours writing every line of code necessary to generate predictions. It helps me link other systems together so that all data can be used to help each system function properly. All in all, it makes completing my analysis easier and faster so i can leave sooner. Drag-and-drop the small squares to create your data pipeline in a few clicks without having to write code, great. The auto-find for my sensor logs selects the most fitting model with no need for me to tweak it for an eternity. Cons: It takes literally forever to load at times and hogs way too much ram. My laptop fan was screaming about 20 minutes ago. Some of the python libraries were pretty irritating to get working as well. They just won't work smoothly or easily. The drag and drop chart's aren't bad, i guess. I am typing this out on my cracked iphone screen in the freezing warehouse office as i wait for our 3 pm truck to dock and my hands are numb. As usual enterprise software is a nightmare. Logility handles the excel files from the finance guys ok. Cons: The problem is when you try to load a large data set, the loading wheel just spins forever and you're wondering if your computer died. Dax formulas are so confusing, i missed one comma yesterday and the entire inventory count was zero, which caused panic. I hate the licensing. We use logility platform to integrate different systems within our company so the raw data actually makes sense together. The bus is running late again and im so hungry i could eat my shoe but at least building predictive models today at work was fast. You just connect it to our crm (customer relationship management) system and it does all the math without me having to learn python. Cons: It uses way too much memory on my laptop when i run big datasets and sometimes it will completely freeze and i'll have to start over which is super annoying. It also gives us a centralized location for our client’s numbers, therefore they no longer ask me where the file is. The security is also good. Cons: My least favorite thing to do with my stakeholders is explain to them while we are both standing there staring at a spinning loading wheel for three minutes due to a slow hang caused by large historical datasets and Logility Platforms inability to handle such data. In order to customize your own plots, you need to have some knowledge of technical stuff. The learning curve is extremely difficult for non-technical people. Read More MK Marc K. I find changing the data type of columns to be an annoyance. But since it handles the terabyte sized tables automatically for me, I don't have to do it myself. Honestly, we could probably just hire two more employees to do this but I'm impressed the 3-way matching functionally works without failing. I can also create a history of invoices from here. My lack of motivation has been cured because I can now scan pictures of receipts even though the mobile application is awful. The basic workflow tool does what it's supposed to do. I'm glad it does handle our Amazon bulk orders (it doesn't crash). People also do use the supplier portal. Cons: Its user interface looks as if its been sitting since 2008 and when you try to edit the amount on a PO it gives you an error message that makes you throw away the whole order and drive you nuts.
