I have been a Masterworks user since 2007.

Dave Savard is amazing and acts as a great liaison between his staff and ours.

PROS

The amount of information / details available on the main screen . Capabilities of the program if used correctly is phenomenal . Support team is easily accessible.

CONS

Training individuals to use the program is slightly difficult and takes time. Not all the prompts are obvious. Each screen presents the same way, with repetition it becomes easier.

MasterWorks fulfills our daily requirements in accounting, order processing and inventory control.

PROS

Our staff finds the software user friendly and easy to learn. Reports can be customized to our customers requirements. Customer support is instant and their staff goes out of their way to help you with any requirements we need.

CONS

When wanting to run special reports we have to call support to walk us though the steps. This is really not an issue as it is easier to call support then to search documentations.

I use it mainly for quotes and finding info on customers activities

what it does for me is the information required to understand and move forward with customers

PROS

I find it ok....do not know what is better if there is better....Let me say that for the needs of information, quotes and finding out the customers purchasing habits, products bought...it does the job...like i mentioned....do not know if there is better

CONS

not really and bad experiences so I am on the fence as to if it is a great program or an average....let me say it does not help me to get new customers or lose them....so I just think it is an average program

Good product overall.

PROS

Once the products are correctly described, It works perfect. Easy to browse through customers and get their price lists, easy to look through customer history, reports available.

CONS

Free form description (causes inconsistency) No Multi Tag Option. Search engine needs to be improved. Photo size need to be standard (ex. 500px X 500px)

I've worked with Masterworks for the last 20 years. Its very easy to operate,.

PROS

I find it easy to print and review invoices and I find it works well for inventory control. I'm able to search order by customer, which is very easy.

CONS

I wish i had a page that showed me all the items I have access for on Masterworks. I would like it as my home page, this would remove all the clutter of items that i never use.

Have used this system for nine years.

PROS

Ease of entering orders. Ability to find product history. Easily able to run reports needed for purchasing.

CONS

Would prefer more ability to find product history from order entry screen. Would like a comprehensive manual.

easy to use and very simple to understand easy to read ... it presents well able to access it easily . Never had a problem with it crashing or being unavailable

PROS

I like the ease of it , for our business it functions as we need it too. It is quick and easy to train new staff on.

CONS

there is not a lot I do not like. if anything remembering to log out at night would be my only complaint.

MasterWorks ERP Accounting and Wholesale Distribution Software

PRO: The only word that I am going to say is Great software. I have been working more than 30 years with different softwares and so far, this is the best. I highly recommend this to every business. Their friendly staffs are so patient and so fast and resolve any problem instantly. Anytime you have a suggestion, they are there to listen to you and most of the times add it to their system. The system is very user friendly and there are still many options that I didn't have time to use. Con: None! Summary: I highly recommend this software, it has been used in our company for a long time and we are so happy with it.

MasterWorks ERP Software

MasterWorks is easy to navigate and simple to use. As a buyer, I am able to create any report that I can think of to help manage our inventory. In fact, the software is so user friendly and capable of so much, I wish I had more time to learn its many other functions that I am not currently utilizing. Whenever I have had to call customer service or technical support with questions, they have always been extremely helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend this software for any businesses in any industry as it is so versatile.

Frustrating

It technically works.

PROS

The system is very Fast, no matter whats going on in your computer it will run efficiently. If only it were easy to use.

CONS

Lack of graphic interface makes it difficult to use unless you have a fantastic memory. Missing crucial features for a modern world. The ability to automatically order product is necessary.

Hi Chris; Thanks for your review. eWorks is the graphical interface with hundreds of tables, charts and graph functions to help you visually see the data in in a large ERP system. Users also can access the RTP system - the Recommend To Purchase module that will create POs automatically based on trend analyses or Min/Max rules. Please ask your manager for access and training if you have a responsibility for inventory management. We are also here and happy to help you out.

very time consuming entering data

my area deals almost entirely with e works. I find e works quite frustrating. RTV's consisting of more that a few SKU's appear on the payable report as multiple lines, not one total. I have to add up all the lines to arrive at a total. I am told that this can't be fixed - seems ridiculous. when entering RTV's all vendors entered on the same day are assigned the same debit memo number. If one particular vendor has more than 1 RTV that day then a single vendor will have several debit memos with the same number, this causes confusion. If I am trying to find a particular debit memo I have to search through all the debit memos with that number. If I am trying to find a document in e works I have to know when the document was produced and I have to enter this info. Often I don't know when the document was initially entered, very time consuming. These are just several of the many frustrations with e works. The problems seem so obvious and illogical that I have often said that surely we are doing something wrong. I am told that this is the way e work operates, nothing can be done. Very disappointed with this choice of software.

MWS Comments

Pro's - once learned it is easy to use and organized. Memorizing options is easy. Con's - I have 4 companies (1,2,3,3A & 4) but they don't all show up on various reports run (company 4 is not in option 2386) For easier use, company 3A could be it's own screen like company 1. Sometimes updates and changes are made and I don't get notification that new steps are required. Intermittently our system is on the wrong date and there is a 2-2.5 hour wait until someone is available that is authorized to notify you, then get it fixed. For inventory, home bin (pick locations) should be lockable so that when the system comes on line, everything is still correct. It takes a long time and is very frustrating to get it corrected. a special code to change pick locations could be an option.

Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Returns to Vendor, Customer service

The Accounts Payable portion of the system works quite well. I am just learning the Purchasing portion, and am trying to refine the way we are using it. One thing I find frustrating at times is that many features are not documented well. I continue to find capabilities of the system "accidentally". The RTV system is weaker; perhaps it is the way we are using it? I wish the custom reporting function was better. I would like to be able to create a report with titles, etc. and run it regularly without having to recreate it.

Excellent customer service, especially from Dave & Tarin, no request is too big or too small. I have been using this software for 7 years, and I really appreciate that it is constantly evolving with us. I also love that I don't have to prompt them to figure out how to make the software optimal for our type of business, Dave is always coming up with new ways to help us run more efficiently & effectively. I highly recommend you use this software for your business.

Great Software. Makes running your business simple.

We have been using Masterworks/E-Works for almost 2 years. It is an easy to use intuitive system that helps us to manage our distribution business with ease. We can easily manage our purchasing, inventory, accounting and customers all in one system. The reporting is great and will even make recommendations on what to order based on historical sales data. We have had 100% up time and i would highly recommend it to any small, medium or large business.

Excellent

Easy to navigate software. Quick and easy access to reports and can define criteria to your information requirements. Customer service and support team really went above and beyond their call of duty to set up our recent new customer/vendor partnership. Support team is readily available on call via email, phone etc... with questions to our inquiries regarding system needs and processes. Never a waiting period for answers.

MasterWorks ERP Software

The MasterWorks software is user friendly. The team at Beckard have created some customized software for us in addition to standard MasterWork modules. They are always quick and reasonable and easy to deal with. They are extremely knowledgeable and are able to train and explain the software even to people with limited computer skills and knowledge. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Beckard Associates.

Shipping & Inventory entry

I use Masterworks on a daily basis to enter shipping bills. The process is quite easy and quick. Inventory entry is also simple. My small complaint if any would be in the Sales Order Management screen (1100). I find there is too much information, but this may be just a personal preference. Customer service & tech support is excellent, the staff is very helpful.

The software is very helpfull and usefull to our company.

We have been using this software for some years now. We have never really had any major problems with it. If there has been any problems either we call in for assisstance which is given right away, or someone from Beckard and Associates comes to the office if the problem can not be resolved over the phone.

Have use the system for approx 14 years and found it to be effective in all areas.

System is very user friendly. Everything is at your fingertips. If there are any problems, the customer service is excellent at solving the problem. Would recommend the system. Also, it is upgrade often to provide more as business change.

Easy to learn, user-friendly, obtain the information you need.

I have used Beckard Masterworks for eight years, and like this software very much. It is very easy to use, and I can get the detailed information I need. Customer service is always there to answer my questions and help me out.
