Momentis & NTD

Momentis ERP & APGL provides NTD the data required to make successful decisions everyday. Whether Inventory, EDI, Costing or Purchasing, Momentis Fashion Systems provides clear and accurate reporting to all users. It's ease of use allows all users to onboard quickly and use Momentis manage their day to day operations. The integration of Shopify and Shipstation provides our Ecomm operations a significant competitive advantage.

PROS

Ease of use, Ability to not require any outside ERP software, everything in 1 connected system.

CONS

Crystal Reports, the old school screens on certain modules, ie invoicing.

Old Fashion

The solution do what is intended even if it takes time to get you there. Overall, it is a good product there is a lot of room for improvement but unfortunately after the years they haven't do much.

PROS

Deployment is not complicated. Can be customized to fit your company's need. Training is provided on premises.

CONS

The solution lacks lots of minor details that can be overwhelming or frustrating at times. Interface is not very friendly and sometimes looks kind of messy and old.

Apparel ERP Definitely Worth Considering

The integrations we've done, especially with eCommerce and PLM, will make us far more efficient and eliminate redundant work. Working with Momentis as a company has been an excellent experience. They have a deep bench with a strong understanding of apparel. We went live on time and on budget even during Covid-19. They have truly been a partner committed to our success.

PROS

Momentis is a significant upgrade from our prior legacy system. We are now fully integrated with our eCommerce platform, PLM, EDI, ShipStation, FedEx, UPS, and soon our Point-of-Sale and suppliers via the Vendor Web App (vendor portal). Sales Web App and iOS Sales Web App have been in use for two selling seasons by both our in-house and outside sales teams. An important capability was to be able to enter orders remotely in offline mode with no internet connection. Lastly, having Power BI and the suite of pre-developed dashboards is something we look very forward to exploring in depth.

CONS

Auto-invoicing is not as seamless as we would like. While we like the sales web apps, some requested upgrades underway will make entering orders more efficient.

We were several upgrades behind on our legacy platform and decided to do an upgrade vs. replace evaluation. After going through an extensive search and formal evaluation process of available platforms Momentis was determined by the selection team to be the superior platform and prospective partner.

Very Good Software

Our Experience is very successful and it has been translated by the number of years of the partnership between us. amazing staff, well trained and very comprehensive to our demands.

PROS

Momentis Fashion System is an ERP that automates financials, inventory/Warehouse management , production planning and sale. The solution is suitable for small to midsize firms that are manufacturer, Wholesaler and Distributor. The software is available to offer numerous tools and features for deployment and improvement to the needs and evolvement of our Business.

CONS

Slow process for manual fixes No real time Data is offered in some sections little bit costly due to the constant needs of upgrades

Momentis for a Wholesale Apparel Company

Overall a positive experience. The Momentis team has also been instrumental in setting up customized features to further serve our needs.

PROS

Momentis is easy to use with intuitive menus and well designed reports. It is fairly easy to train new users.

CONS

Overall I am satisfied with the product, but have recently encountered some EDI issues. We are working with the Momentis team to correct those.

Momentis

Momentis has been able to adapt to our needs as we continue to grow . It is the core of our daily operations and the basis of multiple interfaces with other softwares.

PROS

It’s user friendly . Customized to our ever changing needs . Interfaces easily to other softwares .

CONS

Logic on reports not always consistent . NT support WAS NOT always helpful .

Momentis Review

Customer service is very responsive and have been helpful.

PROS

Momentis has some nice features in the PO system to help track, update etc. It's easy to build the libraries of data.

CONS

It takes a long time to look up and work in PLM. It's restrictive in certain views when working in the PO system. The reports are not helpful, but I understand it's not a focus of Momentis, but I wish it was.

Reasons for switching to Momentis Fashion System

We now use Centric for PLM but still use Momentis for PO work. Centric has more flexibility with integrating other systems with itself; it's much faster and easier.

Good value for your money

PROS

Once you have it setup and customized the way you want it Momentis works great and is easy to use.

CONS

It can be quite tricky to use at first because the interface is outdated and needs to be updated.

Mometis gets the job done!

PROS

It easily automates communication between our company and retail customers/ecom. Great to have a software that specializes in the needs of apparel only companies!

CONS

Momentis Fashion System is not the most friendly compared to it's ERP competitors. Running/creating customized reports can be a bit challenging, it's a tad bit outdated.

A tool every fashion business needs

PROS

What I liked most about Momentis Fashion System is that designing your clothes is so easy and intuitive using the tool’s big library! Not only this, but your whole inventary is managed, as is the ordering process!

CONS

We had to wait a while in the beginning before being able to contact customer support
