OutBound Shipping by HAL Systems is a warehouse and transportation management application that streamlines and makes more efficient a customer’s domestic and international parcel shipping processes.
The system provides multiple key benefits to shipping operations. Through a single, user friendly interface, operators are guided thorough inputs based on the specific data required for the particular situation, minimizing the chance of errors. Content-unique shipping requirements, such as shipping of hazardous materials, is seamless and intuitive. The system provides content tracking of multiple parcels in one shipment, actual carrier rates in real-time, is certified for use with FedEx, UPS, USPS, and can handle LTL as well. The system can even provide rate comparisons between the various carries. Comprehensive reporting is available to evaluate and improve on shipping costs, and the system can be integrated with other third-party applications.
We especially like OutBound Shipping’s dedication to customer support. HAL Systems is available to help users 24/7 for every product in their portfolio, so no customer has to stop delivery or cancel shipments because of technical issues.
We recommend OutBound Shipping to companies that ship 100 or more parcels per day. Typical applications are with third-party logistics firms, fulfillment centers, and general warehouse operations. It is particularly well-suited for food & beverage companies, chemical manufacturers, medical supply firms and discrete merchandise. The system is installed locally and is best suited for small to mid-sized companies.

Great customer service - Anytime the system was down or I needed to learn how to use a new feature I was pleasantly surprised with the immediate, helpful feedback from their team.
Our company's output grew (including LTL freight) and it simply did not make sense as a solution anymore. Also, for companies with high kitting activity it can be very difficult to create your labels/BOLs to reflect the pick n pack process. Other than that I have very few complaints.
