Postmates is a wonderful useful delivery service.

I like to use this app when ordering from certain locations. The service is usually good.

PROS

Postmates works just like most delivery services. They do offer more options though so it a good one to use.

CONS

It isn't as popular as some of the bigger apps so it isn't available everywhere,

Postmates used to have the best pricing and now they inflate their procing a lot more

Overall, good experience, worth it when I want it

PROS

The easiness to schedule an order and get it delivered is second to only doordash

CONS

Drivers have trouble findinng my address, postmates doesn't feature whole menus, menus are higher in price, but probably due to people not tipping drivers

FOOD FROM WRONG PLACE!

My overall experience with Postmates has been good. I wouldn't say it has been great, but it certainly hasn't been bad. I did only have that one bad experience where my food was delivered from the wrong restaurant but nevertheless their customer service was pretty good and their drivers were always polite to me. If it was based off of customer service I would rate them a good seven out of ten but as far as their actual service, I'm going to give it a four out of ten.

PROS

I used Postmates for about 3 months and I can say that I liked their prices. They seemed to be lower than the other delivery apps that I was using at the time. I did like that their ordering process seemed to be easier and quicker than most of the other apps that were in the same field as theirs. I can also say that whenever I used them their drivers seem to be really nice and polite. Even if the food was late they would say things like, "Have a nice day!" and I really liked that about Postmates as a whole.

CONS

Well, I used Postmates for about three months before I quit using them. The reason why I quit using Postmates is because one time I ordered some Chinese food from a Chinese restaurant. Well I did not get the food from the correct restaurant that I wanted it from and as we all know some foods from some restaurants do not taste the same. My Postmates delivery driver called me and said that they sent her to the wrong place and she was at the mall Chinese food restaurant. I did not want to go to that place because their food didn't taste the same as the restaurant that I was told my food will be picked up from. So my driver had to get my order all over again because it was a whole different restaurant and I got my food an hour later. The food was not as good as it would have been from the other restaurant and I was highly upset. So I got in contact with customer service and the best they could do was give me a Postmates credit on the amount that I spent. Now, that was a nice gesture but I wanted my money back and was not able to get it outside of the app.

DoorDash over Postmates

PROS

Of all the food delivery apps, Postmates seems to have the largest array of restaurant options. There have been several restaurants I cannot find on DoorDash or GrubHub that I can always find on Postmates. The app is easy to use, and customer service, should you need them, is quick and helpful. As someone who is always trying to keep costs down, more than anything I appreciate the "Deals" tab at the very top of the app, which displays only restaurants offering $0 delivery fees or discounts on qualifying orders. I almost always order from a restaurant offering a deal.

CONS

The "percentage off" offers, when they appear on the home screen, almost always require you to spend at least $30 or more, which to me isn't ideal. I've found that delivery fees on Postmates also tend to be more expensive than competing apps, which is why DoorDash remains my preferred food delivery app.

Postmates Review

Very good when running smoothly but always a problem with merchant support when I need assistance.

PROS

It allows us to reach a customer base without requiring the customer to visit our store directly.

CONS

Customer support is the absolute worse. They will always have the case "escalated" for someone to reach out but even when it's marked "urgent," it is their policy to reach out in 48 hours and there is no one that can help immediately.
