ScanData product and team
It is built for high volume and their team makes it mass customizable. I don't think there is anyone in this space that has such a robust parcel manifesting and labeling system for high volume shippers than they do. At the same time, they can customize at very low costs. Great combination.
CONSI had heard of other providers before coming across ScanData. I just wish I would have known about them sooner.

Fantastic shipping integration partner!
We have integrated with ScanData to help with the manifest of shipment packages, and closing of those packages for various domestic carriers (e.g UPS, USPS), as well as to provide label data for in house label generation. The team at ScanData has been professional, responsive, knowledgeable and proficient in what they do. We have not have any major issues, and any minor issues are addressed timely. The software as a service is more than capable at scaling to our constantly changing volume due to seasonality.
CONSSome dependency on legacy Microsoft .NET technologies (ASMX and soap-based services), rather than the more modern REST-based services, but that has not hinder any of integration effort.

Efficient TMS
It works just fine, our customer likes it, it's simple to use and an overall good TMS platform.
PROSNo nonsense, nothing flashy or hard to understand. It is a great portal for logistics partners to manage freight, run bidding, and manage transportation scores.
CONSI have to clear my history every time i have to log in, making it impossible to save passwords or set perameters on other sites. I dont know what this glitch is but it gets really old. Won't let me log in with our clearing history...every...day.

Good TMS System
I use Transplace daily to handle one of my largest customers and have had very few issues with the software over the last 4.5 years.
PROSFairly simple to use and understand the program. Most features are very straight forward and make it simple to easily accept loads and bid on lanes as well.
CONSThere should be the ability to accept or decline load tenders through Transplace.

CONSThere hasn't been anything that has made me feel bad but Testing necessitates some downtime due to communication issues with warehouse equipment, however this is not a system flaw.

Quality product and support for 15+ years
I've been working with the Scandata team for many years, and they are always quick to respond, with quality and effective solutions for anything we've needed. Couldn't ask for a better team.
PROSEasy to use. Quality product. Excellent reporting. Great support when needed.
CONSTesting requires some downtime because of communication with equipment in the warehouse, but this isn't a fault of the system.

Industry Leading Manifest System with Great Features
The ScanData VSAMs system is very configurable. A lot of requests we made were features that were already part of the system and just needed to be enabled.
CONSThe configurability can cause issues if not set correctly. Other than that, it is very easy to use and support.

ScanData knows carrier integrations better than the big carriers and support issues are minimal.
It's stable, scales well and we don't have issues during peak periods where orders increase exponentially
