Key features include screen capture history, user management, benchmarking and multiple image format support. Teams using Fraps can perform custom benchmarks, measure frame rate between two points and save the statistics into the disk, which can be used for future review and reference. Users can gain visibility into the number of frames per second (FPS) in the corner of the screen. The platform automatically names and timestamps an image after it has been captured. Additionally, it offers various functionality for video files such as movie cursor hide, stereoscopic 3D and RGB capture. General settings of Fraps include minimized start, always on top view, display status on LCD, minimize to system tray only and more.
