  • Pros

  • Apex one is mid tier expensive software that help to protect network of organization with the inbuilt features such as real time scanning, firewall, ips, USB management, etc.
  • Client updates released via the console are efficient and quiet. Management from the console is fair and fairly straightforward.
  • Cons

  • One or 2 times we had a bad update from Trend causing an impact in about a 1 year stretch, last such issue was about 6 months ago. Note - Trend helped remediate this quickly.
  • The defaults will leave you vulnerable and needs to be locked down more.

  • Very Easy to deploy: We were able to deploy smoothly and efficiently agents to hundreds of endpoints from the very first day. Respond to threats and ransomware in real-time.
  • Special comment for its storyline based on events and any incident that happens. Auto remediation capabilities are exceptional.
  • Cons

  • The additional add-ons get a little confusing as to what does what. Some of their terminology is a bit hard to determine initially.
  • They have multiple consoles and knowing which one hosts which computers can be a bit hard. But they are going down to one console soon.
