Keeping me safe from internet invaders

    Pros

I like it's simplicity and small footprint on my computer. I feel secure that it is running in the background protecting me and I have used it for 10 years with no issues.

    Cons

That they keep trying to upsell you with pop ups

I am running a small business. More than 100 attacks we have facing while online. Malware's, virus threats, Trojan problems, etc. But all are resolved with Avast, and the updation of virus program and definitions are amazing.

    Pros

Very robotic and cleans anything. Really useful for business enterprises. Very light to use but work heavy on threats. Winner of many awards. Multi platform support. Cloud centric.

    Cons

When good products on the move, then there is no negative points.

    Pros

We have all of our computers across the state on this software. What we love most is they don't shove other products down your throat like most of the other companies.

    Cons

The only Con I would have is you have to get everyone to update the software as it alerts you to do so and most people will delay it instead of having their computer restarted in the middle of working. Besides that everything else with the software is great and the updating isn't even a product flaw. It's a user not doing their part.

    Pros

Avast is small, uses relatively little memory to protect and scan your system. Menus are easy to use and self-explanatory.

    Cons

Avast just never stops installing more things on your system. A browser (which insists on being your default browser) a password manager, a system monitoring software, it just goes on and on, and with no prior warnings! You just find the "new" functionality and its numerous and nagging popups one day after booting up. Very frustrating.

It is very good in my opinion the best antivirus used.

    Pros

It is excellent because it protects corporate servers with great power, on any cyber attack against corporate information, at the same time optimizing the performance capacity of computers

    Cons

It has a lot of difference with respect to the service and the payment package but in itself the program is very good

    Pros

It seems to catch most viruses and spyware and updates automatically.

    Cons

It creates too many pop-ups asking what I need to do with this problem or that problem. I would rather the software just takes care of it.

The only negative I can think of may be that sometimes the program is too secure. It will quarantine things I do not want it to, but that is a good thing really.

Avast is good antivirus and protect your system. We can easily scan our whole syatem.it protect system from different type of malware, adware.

    Cons

I used this antivirus but there are many better options available as compared to avast. There are also very huge background processes which make your system slow. So team avast should work on those performance issues.

Overall, avast is still very capable antivirus solution for businesses and it’s something that we regularly revisit to see if it’s a good product for us to put into production.

    Pros

We like that, it offers some of the best protection in the antivirus fields with low false positives. Additionally, it’s easy to install and administer.

    Cons

Avast previously was our go to antivirus software, especially for business computers. However, what we found is that all the different editions and pieces have caused it to become very, very bloated and perhaps they have been unable to focus on their core functionality of protecting against viruses.

It's a very complete antivirus that keeps you protected against malicious programs during Internet browsing, use of online applications and threats hosted on removable media, all without compromising the performance of the computer that executes it.

    - Has AntiRootkit.
    - Constant update of your virus database.
    - Real-time monitoring of each of the applications running on the computer (P2P,
    instant messaging, etc)
    - Ability to detect malicious code even when they are not in your database.

    Cons

    - Has Pop-Ups.
    - It does not have rasomware protection.
    - Does not have protection against Backdoors.
    - It does not hide your IP very well.

satisfactory! I have not had any problem and so far has detected viruses where nobody expected there to be.

    Pros

I love that the virus database is updated periodically. Is really useful to check emails, attachments, files, removable memories, internet pages and basically anything in search of viruses.

    Cons

I feel that all functions are lost in the interface, I do not know if it has so many options that I forget how to get to them, but I always have to ask myself "how was that done?"

    Pros

My dad recommended I use Avast when I purchased a PC laptop (several years ago). I would classify myself as a fairly "careful" computer user, but having an antivirus made me feel better, even if it might have been a placebo effect. Avast was pretty easy to use and I never got a virus.

    Cons

To my recollection, there were a lot of pop ups that I couldn't figure out how to turn off - it's fine when it's a regular reminder or something, but my memory includes a lot of pop ups that were less than useful and just kept coming.
