It's affordable and it works very well. It's also much lighter and doesn't slow down our computers. We use it for our office computers and at home computers. It's nice having the added security (opens a secure window) when it detects something that needs higher security like opening a bank website. #### Cons Not any cons I can think of honestly. We are a small studio of under 10 staff so it was great for us. I have started using an anti virus software 10 years back and with the time I moved to many different anti-virus software. Within first 8 years, I faced many problems regarding malware infections and those time I was working in a government organization too. So data protection was a big problem for me and for my company. Finally we decided to move to Eset antivirus software and I'm really happy to say that it has never failed so far. We have never found any negetive thing related to eset and it has been doing a great job so far. I'm really satisfied with my experience because there was a time there are no cloud spaces to save sensitive data and I was really afraid of data protection. So there was a big problem keeping data safe because viruses can damage files, steal data and monitor sensitive information. Keeping data in physical files was a nightmare. Also some software gave us false alarms that it identified non-malicious file as malware. Also most of the anti-virus software that we used are degrade performance of the computer so most of the employees used to disable virus protection. With the time anti-virus software got improved but still some are not performing well. None of those different anti-virus software worked the way I wanted. With the experience of using different anti-virus software for years, finally our company decided to move to Eset two years back. The best thing about eset is it does not degrade performance while scanning for threats. The interface has a clean, bright look and all are well organized. For me eset is within my budget. Eset runs in the background smoothly without bothering me to do actions. Also it scan USB drives immediately when they are plugged into the PC. From the installation and setup process everything is easy and no need to struggle with any step. #### Cons I don't have any serious issue while using eset and I can recommend anyone eset as the most stable and effective anti-virus software. #### Reasons for switching to ESET Endpoint Security I used different anti-virus software before using eset and McAfee is one of them. It consumes a lot of memory, whether it's during the scan or real time protection and because of that machines' performance got degraded and it became a big issue for the company. Also the memory usage is high during the scan time and we had to leave the machine alone till the scan completed. ESET was fast and had minimal impact on overall performance on computer while detecting many threats other tools could not detect. With constant updates and user friendly UI, I feel it's the most comfortable tool I have used. Quite customizable with excluding locations, custom firewall, and specially the gaming mode where it improves overall performance of computer was splendid. As a user for many years ESET came up with many good features like email protection, banking protection, and a own blacklist to enhance users' security. #### Cons I used ESET for many years but I have rarely seen faults in ESET. When I first started with ESET it did a really good job, my laptop was not performing well, I installed it and managed to remove over 20 malicious software. I like how it works well on different computer systems, be it entry-level or high performance. I am currently running it on an i5 processor with 8 GBs of RAM and it works well. It uses low computing power and it does not slow down my computer. I like the ESET splash screen that shows up on computer startup, it's interesting how it's changed over the years. The splash screen has a clean and premium feel to it and it makes using ESET thus much more pleasant. The splash screen simply shows up and automatically disappears, making starting up pleasant and not long especially when compared to other programs where a complete window opens up which then has to be closed. I have also used it on an entry-level computer with a Celeron processor and 4 GBs of RAM. It worked well, and I still saw the above pros, and most importantly I was able to scan my computer and have it free of malware. #### Cons I do not have much against ESET, it works well, except that scan times are lengthy, but this is related to file sizes that I have on my machine and in any case, I found it to still be quicker than other programs. There is a price point to ESET and even though it works well there are other anti-virus programs with a free plan that compete strongly with it. #### Reasons for switching to ESET Endpoint Security Over a decent number of years, I have switched from ESET to Kaspersky and then to ESET again and have also used both of them together. Microsoft have caught up now with their latest 365 Defender offerings, but I wouldn't necessarily choose one over the other in terms of performance. ESET can still be deployed via Microsoft Intune but there is additional work involved and is harder to track client devices long-term.
