Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business Core is an on-premise and cloud-based security solution for small and medium-sized businesses that includes anti-malware, a firewall and a central administration control. It combines signature-based malware detection with the pattern-based technologies, enabling it to defend against new and emerging threats. It also taps into the Kaspersky Security Network, allowing Kaspersky analysts to keep track of threats in real time. It works on multiple operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

Kaspersky’s firewall and intrusion prevention system helps protect workstations and servers from intruders seeking to steal business data. The firewall comes with rules for the most common programs already in place, thus reducing the time required to spend on configuration. The solution helps users protect smartphones and tablets with anti-phishing, jailbreak detection, mobile device management and anti-theft technologies for Android and iOS devices.

Pricing is either monthly or annual licensing. Support is provided via live chat, online forums, knowledge base and phone.

Supported Operating System(s):
Windows 7 , Windows Vista , Windows XP , Mac OS , Windows 2000 , Windows 8 , Windows 10

We use Kaspersky to secure most of our remotely managed machines and it works well with our RMM. However, it is not as easy to customize the product for each organization as it is with other similar products.

    Pros

The software is very easy to use and manage.
Protects machines from malicious files very well.

    Cons

    Not able to customize much.
Not as many options to choose from as far as what you want to use the software for.

I feel Kaspersky is good but not the best as an overall product. Other colleagues have the same opinion.

    Pros

Stops most of the threats. Updates silently in the background. Isn't too much intrusive while working. Working under a company policy ensures no configuration required for updates etc.

    Cons

Consumes a lot of computer resources. When performing scans, takes away 50 percent of CPU's computing power leaving other programs unresponsive at times.

The software gets the basic job done for everyday antivirus tasks, but it is not anything to gawk at and I fail to see the hidden value in the software. would not necessarily recommend it to anyone but I would not necessarily tell anyone not to use it either.

    Pros

    - Has decent antivirus capability.
    - Has a good free trial for those in need.
    - Has decent amount of functionality and various tools at the users disposal.

    Cons

    - Strange user interface, requires a little getting used too, not so intuitive.
    - Can be a bit annoying in the sense that it has pop ups that interrupt a users use on their PC.
    - Does not offer any special tools or functions on par with other antiviruses such as Norton, the competition is beating them in a sense.
    - I feel as if I may as well just download Bit-Defender.

As a home user this is a fine product, meets the needs and I would probably base my choice of this versus another security package based on cost. For business uses I would look for a more business-centric tool

    Pros

Keeping up with updates seems to catch any of the most recent threats without a problem, gives you safe internet access etc. It has a little lower memory usage than most of the others I have seen.

    Cons

It doesn't appear to be as full featured as things like Bit Defender and Norton which is perfectly fine for most home users

It makes clients very slow after installation. it consumes a lot of CPU and Ram resources.

I used use it, also I was a salesman in my previous job and this always was one of the most sold products, great.

    Pros

The euristic base that use this antivirus makes the internet surfing and the copy of archives safer, in my opinion is one of the top 3 antivirus today.

    Cons

The cost, for me is a great software, but the brand "Kasperky" (in the general way) it's expensive.

I have had clients with serious virus problems and almost impossible to eliminate, but using kaspersky was the best solution.

    Pros

Always updated against malwares and malicious software that attack daily on the internet.

    Cons

I would like them to lower the price a little more or provide more in the purchase of new equipment with more than 2 years protection.

    Pros

I've tired numerous Security software suites with Mac and usually they are not rich in features or they hog up a huge amount of system resources that bogs my machine down. Kaspersky is lightweight, simple, and keeps everything running smoothly.

    Cons

Wish the pricing model for this was a bit cheaper or if they'd offer more discounts of their Subscriptions.
