Endpoint Security for Business Core Software

Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business Core is an on-premise and cloud-based security solution for small and medium-sized businesses that includes anti-malware, a firewall and a central administration control. It combines signature-based malware detection with the pattern-based technologies, enabling it to defend against new and emerging threats. It also taps into the Kaspersky Security Network, allowing Kaspersky analysts to keep track of threats in real time. It works on multiple operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

Kaspersky’s firewall and intrusion prevention system helps protect workstations and servers from intruders seeking to steal business data. The firewall comes with rules for the most common programs already in place, thus reducing the time required to spend on configuration. The solution helps users protect smartphones and tablets with anti-phishing, jailbreak detection, mobile device management and anti-theft technologies for Android and iOS devices.

Pricing is either monthly or annual licensing. Support is provided via live chat, online forums, knowledge base and phone.

Beware mac users

It was installed as a preventive action, it was unable to perform any real action because the trouble it caused in the system.

Pros

It seems to check the computer in a good way keeping it away from viruses and all that weird stuff. I work only under MacOs having 150 computers as a system admin but IT guys wanted me to install it in all machines in spite of never had a single security issue in any of the computers in 10 years. Well, i ended up installing it in so many machines as a campus administrator.

Cons

My god, this thing filled the HDD in all machines rendered those unusable computers with no available disk space crashing them and then did not startup. Something inside Kasperky app was generating a lot of logs which filled 1TB of HDD space in a couple of days. I uninstalled it, i don't use it. Logs were not generated because of virus found, it was something Kaspersky app could not handle in a good way. My computers just had audio or video editing apps, nothing strange installed to have caused that.

Keep Your Compuers Safe With Kaspersky Endpoint Security

Kaspersky Endpoint Security has been very useful in our organization as it keeps our computer systems safe and efficient. It is a must have PC security tool.

Pros

What I like about Kaspersky Endpoint Security is that it is easy to implement and use. It is a reliable computer security software that will keep away viruses and malware. The best part is that these PC security tool works in the background and will constantly monitor and secure your PC without interfering with other programs that you are running. Also, when browsing, Kaspersky Endpoint Security will keep scanning websites for viruses and malware and will warn you in case of you are about to open a malicious site. I also like the fact that Kaspersky Endpoint Security offers more security features than other PC security tools in the market.

Cons

If you want better security, then you need to upgrade which more costly than the basic version. Otherwise, we have not encountered other major issues.

A very effective and acceptable performance tool. A competent option

Pros

Kaspersky offers quite acceptable performance with a light weight at an affordable price. It has a fairly efficient malware protection, several customization options, high performance and availability of password management and parental control. Personally Kaspersky seems a very good option to me.

Cons

I have nothing negative to point out about the software. However, it seems appropriate to recommend the addition of extra tools that complement the protection.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security is a Solid Security Tool/

Our encounter with Kaspersky Endpoint Security has been amazing. This security tool offers the most solid and vibrant protection. So reliable.

Pros

Kaspersky Endpoint Security is one of the reliable and functional security tool. It has the most robust/comprehensive security capabilities. With this software, one is assured that no single malware that can gain access to your system.

Cons

Kaspersky Endpoint Security is expensive, and this lowers the number of individuals who can afford it. Again, the application is so complex to use unlike other software.

Great Warrior

Pros

Kaspersky always remains ahead in case of virus or malware detection ad it keeps running in the background. Either a system or virtual machine, this software detection remains ahead. Other main thing which determines to be a good malware/virus detector is that it remains updated date to date.

Cons

There is nothing that I dislike about the software.

Best Bang for the Buck

I don't believe the Ruskies are trying to infiltrate us through Kaspersky, and if you can get past the fact that the software originated in Russia, it is a very efficient, cost effective solution for you security needs.

Pros

I have used numerous antivirus programs over the past 20+ years and find Kaspersky the most comprehensive solution without being overbearing. Most other solutions act as if they're the only program that needs to run on your PC, taking precious computer cycles and causing the computer to bog down. Kaspersky works in the background and doesn't tend to slow down the PC. It also doesn't provide constant popups that are obvious advertising ploys.

Cons

While it is a comprehensive program, from an administrative perspective, it is extremely difficult to determine how to roll out updates from the central console. The good news is that it's very easy to get a live person in tech support and they are happy to guide you through the process. Unfortunately, if you don't access the console on a regular basis, you forget what they showed you.

A Hero with no Cape!

Overall, it had provided the protection needed to hush away all kind of viruses, and as it's being updated all the time, so far any latest malware couldn't get through its secure walls.

Pros

Kaspersky is being used on all our work computers across the department, and also on our personal Laptops. It's a super security guard against all the malware, the best feature is that it's always running in the background; checking emails and computer for viruses, and keeping us secure with minimal system usage. and it's very easy to configure in any machine.

Cons

Kaspersky sometime becomes very strict and blocks any USB drive attached to the machine, even thou the device is clean but due to its suspicion of having a virus in the device, it just doesn't allow the device to connect. I say it should be more accurate in scanning than being strict.

Best Antivirus So far ... :D

Kaspersky keeps the PC of the business healthy , if one of the pc get infected by a malware it will soon spread to the other pc in the network. But with kaspersky you don't have to worry about that .

Pros

Really reliable ... Almost every malware detected by it and doesn't delete every file around it .. earlier versions of this software tends to delete everything that infected by malware ,even system files , now it seems to be fixed.

Cons

Sometimes it effect to the PC performance ,and some of the Features of Kaspersky is too much ,For example the password protection tools and secure wifi tools are not effective with the home users

Free Trial for this Software

Pros

I had a 30 day free trial of this software when I purchased a computer. It seemed to be "okay", but I am a little biased since I was more familiar with AVG and thought it was more user friendly.

Cons

I didn't have the software long enough to have many or any cons.

It helps me protect my costumers file since 8 years. I simply love that antivirus.

Pros

I use this software for 800+ computers over all my costumers network. It works very good. Security Center is a powerful management application for Endpoint clients. Never had a virus with all my costumer if it is well configured / deployed.

Cons

Licensing is a little complicated and have problem getting new licences when I ask them..
Security Center is a little hard to learn, but when you understand it, it is so powerful!

The best antivirus software for all your devices

Kaspersky stays ahead of their competition in very many ways. This tool is very intuitive and very advances in malware detection. I would recommend it to anyone hoping to get great results.

Pros

Implementing was very easy. The advancement is impressive. The developers are intuitive and anticipate new threats therefore it is brilliantly crafted to stay ahead. Very advanced in malware detection and enhances maximum protection on all my devices including tablet and mobile phone.

Cons

I find that the visualization is not as appealing. It is visually confusing. The licenses are expensive compared to other software. I missed one update and it couldn’t function normally so I had to reinstall from the beginning which has been my greatest drawback.

Kapersky for Keeping Networks Clean

Pros

Kaspersky has had a reputation in the past for being able to detect malware and protect endpoints. I find that it is very similar in finding things like McAfee. It updates typically every day and will disinfect automatically. It can be deployed remotely and has a lot of easy to use management tools such as on demand scanning.

Cons

Dameware does not seem to be able to take full control of the software on a PC remotely. Lacks in detection like similar software. Malwarebytes is used in conjunction for "after the fact" cleanup.
